I had an anchor breast lift 450 cc high profile. They told me I could get a second surgery with the same incisions. I want to get a second survey because they're way too big for my frame and pop out on the sides if that makes sense. I'm considering getting implants completely out. Is this not preferable? They'd have to lift the nipple right? My nipples are already so perky and high up on my chest. Can someone tell me who has done these what is realistic goals?
Answer: Second breast lift is possible. If you have already had a breast lift, and your nipples are sitting in a youthful, perky position, there’s no reason to elevate the nipple any further. However, some skin tightening can be done to make the breast appear more full. Certainly if you wish to remove your implants, that would eliminate having any additional surgery in the future regarding those implants such as replacement or repositioning. The removal of the implant can be done within the incisions to revise your breast lift so no new incisions are placed on your breast. As there are several options for you, you should have a detailed consultation with your plastic surgeon. Best wishes.

Answer: Breast lift Dear saraht1111, generally speaking, it is possible to do revision surgery. My preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: Lift You did not post photos, but implants can be exchanged for something smaller or be removed. The lift can be done again. If your nipples are in a good location, they may not need to be lifted. Most any plastic surgeon should be able to do the second surgery.

Answer: Can I get a second lift? It's common for women to elect to have a lift after removing implants and it can often be done in one surgical day. This will remove the excess skin that may have stretched from having the implants. It is possible to have lift even after you've already had one.

Answer: Explant with Bellesoma Method Yes, I perform many revisions. Often times, from anchor lift and removing implants. Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. However, if the nipples are high on the chest wall, it may make the operation more difficult. The technique I recommend is explantation and lift using The Bellesoma Method. The implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped creating upper pole fullness, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained if not injured during your previous surgery. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.
