I am getting a breast lift on April 25th and I am worried I won’t have enough tissue to be the size I am hoping for ( C,D). I was supposed to get an insurance approved reduction back in December but backed out due to the reduction making me go down to a B. So I then scheduled a lift with a small reduction. I also do not want implants. Looking at my images can anyone tell me if I would be a good candidate for just a lift and would I get the size I am hoping for?
Answer: Breast lift You are a very good candidate for a breast lift. Generall Speaking, patients end up around a “C” cup, but cup size is notoriously inaccurate. What you need to know is that the operation will make you significantly lifted, reshaped, and with just right proportion. Definitely NO implants as you will not get the highest tightest lift that you are looking for. I would not hesitate to proceed.

Answer: Breast lift Dear rahenning21, my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. Answer: Am I a candidate? Yes from the photos you appear to be a good candidate for a lift. This will remove excess skin and raise the position of the nipple. You can elect to have a small reduction and still have a C/D size. I encourage you to discuss your size goals with your surgeon so that you can be comfortable and confident as you prepare for surgery.

Answer: Lift With a lift, you should be around a C cup. Bras are not all the same sizes, so your bra size might vary. I think you should do very well.

Answer: Possibly; an in person evaluation is needed for a definitive answer After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what is right for them. Answer: I prefer silicon implants "Undoubtedly, we will have enough breast tissue to perform a breast lift, achieving the volume you desire, and your breasts will appear more lifted. However, if you wish to definitively fill the upper poles, we could use a cohesive silicone gel implant for this purpose. I hope this is helpful for you. Best regards."
