Hi ! I am a 29yr old mother of two breastfed children. I’m sure most doctors would suggest a lollipop incision for breast lift but I would really like to avoid this type of scarring. I would like a few different opinions. Thank you
Answer: Breast lift You need either a lollipop or anchor lift. The Lollipop lift scars heal beautifully but look better with an implant. If you want to avoid an implant I would recommend the anchor lift.

Answer: Full breast lift Your nipples are located below your breast fold therefore a full breast lift, with most likely an anchor incision, would be more suitable for you. A lollipop incision may also be an option, depending on how much of a lift you’d like.

Answer: Is there a way to avoid a lollipop incision for breast lift? Hello @_smariee thank you for your question. The form incision is made to get the best aesthetic result posible. There are 3 types of scars for a breast lift. The periareolar incision when when we make a breast reduction from prosthesis change, to rearrange the prosthesis pocket or the plane in which the prosthesis is placed to have the best esthetic result. The other scar that I always do is the L-shaped scar. That is the one I always do, because the L-shaped scar allows the patient to have the cleavage area free of scars. I have been performing the technique for 21 years and it is a technique that works perfectly in breast liftI never use the anchor scar because for me the best aesthetic result if from the L shape scar. Best wishes! Alan Gonzalez MD

Answer: Donut Mastopexy Good afternoon, I agree you would receive the greatest benefit and most lifting from a vertical or full anchor type lift, but a donut mastopexy is an option to reduce your areolas and tighten your skin a little- it just won't make a huge difference in terms of where your breasts sit on your chest.

Answer: Bellesoma Method The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: In person evaluation is needed. Breast lift? You might not need one. After I measure and discuss goals with my patients, we then look at pictures of women (my patients) with similar measurements with different size and style breast implants. They also get to see what they would look like when the breasts have fully dropped and fluffed and in clothes. You get to see actual results and the surgeon's experience and not a virtual idea of what can be achieved. Women tell me that this process is very helpful in determining what size and style breast implant is right for them. Mildly Sagging Breasts: If your breasts are mildly droopy, a saline or silicone gel implant placed behind the pectoral muscle might help create the illusion of perkiness. That’s because as the implant fills out the top of the breast, it also fills out the bottom, making it look as if the nipple has moved higher. It hasn’t. You can always get a lift later if you feel you are not perky enough when fully settled and healed. Dr. Ted Eisenberg, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon and Author.
