Is it safe to do HBOT before breast lift surgery?

This is a question that needs to be asked of your surgeon. Every surgeon has their own recipe for pre and postoperative treatment. I personally believe HBO therapy helps, but the most important thing is to have stopped smoking 4 weeks before surgery and 4 weeks after surgery.

HBOT should be safe 48 hours prior to surgery, but unlikely to be of benefit. Discuss the cost vs benefit issues with your surgeon who can guide you though your decision.

HBO therapy is not required prior to surgery or after. However, you can elect do it but it is quite expensive and can lead to potential complications. Some patients need PE tubes prior to beginning therapy.

every plastic surgeon has his own preoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is useful to increase the oxygenation to your tissues. It might be more helpful right after surgery than before surgery. The biggest help is to not smoke at least 1 month prior to surgery.
