Sagging after weight loss - is it possible to get a Breast Lift without implants? (photos)

Question

I am a 25 year old female and I noticed my breasts started sagging a lot after a weight loss. I want to see what my options are with just a breast lift procedure, I would not get implants if not necessary. I used to have larger breasts and can still actually fill my DD cup, but they're just too fatty for my liking and lack firmness. I would like them to be higher on my torso, FIRMER at least a little bit and perkier (projected outwards). I also don't like how they spill sideways when I lay on myback

A breast lift can reshape your breasts to make them perkier and firmer, and after surgery you’d be about the same size as you are now. Implants aren’t necessary unless you want to be larger or be significantly rounder.

Hello and thank you for your question. Given the amount of sag and your stated goals I would recommend a lollipop or circumvertical lift to achieve rounder, perkier breasts with increased projection. You would have firmer breasts with an implant, however they will feel more "firm" because the breast will be reshaped and perkier. Best of luck to you.

As you said, you have ample breast tissue volume that just needs to be repositioned. Women often have breast lifts after removal of implants to correct sagging, so you could have the lift alone as you have no need for an implant.

Based on these photos, you seem to be excellent candidate for breast lift without implants. You should know that with lift nly, you will  still loose 1/2-1 cup size in volume! In person consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon with expertise in breast surgery, is recommended. Good luck.

The technique I recommend is a lift using The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. Later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.

my preferred lift is a lollipop lift when a periareolar won't do (ie greater than 2cm lift required). The lollipop technique was created by a Canadian plastic surgeon named Elizabeth Hall-Findley and treats the breast as a three dimensional structure instead of two dimensions (anchor - lift). Most importantly it does not require the horizontal component scars that the anchor-lift requires and breasts appear much more natural, lifted, and less boxy. Lastly, the lift lasts longer because the lollipop doesn't rely on the skin to hold the breast up, its actually breast tissue thats being brought together to support the breast and hence improves longevity. If you are considering a surgery, I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.

A breast lift alone can tighten your skin and lift your nipple position, but it won't really make your breasts more firm or perky- that would require an implant.

Hello and thank you for your question. 
First off, congratulations on your weight loss! If you are wanting to lose any additional weight, I would try to do so before the surgery only because this can change the results of your surgery. 
Based on the pictures you provided, you appear to be a good candidate for a full mastopexy (breast lift) which will put your nipples into the correct position, make the areola smaller and allow excess skin to be taken away, giving you a more youthful, lifted and firmer breast appearance. 
Some people are a little apprehensive to the full breast lift due to the scars (lollipop or anchor), but typically they do very well and scars fade over time. 
Adding a breast implant to the breast lift would add more upper pole fullness and breast volume, but may not be needed in your situation.
I suggest that you seek an in person consultation with a Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon specializing in Breast Lift surgeries to further discuss your options, specific techniques, concerns and expectations. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results.

You would do well with a lift. Breasts tend to fall to the sides when you lay down, even with a lift, unless it is very tight.

Thank you for your questions and your photos. Yes, you can have a lift without breast implants. You will need to accept being slightly smaller. As the excess skin is removed to create a smaller skin brassiere, the remaining breast tissue will be wrapped and compressed by this smaller skin envelope, making the breast feel more firm, but smaller.
If there is laxity that is circumferential that extends around the back associated with massive weight loss, this tissue can be transposed to the front and added to the breast volume, preventing the drop in size associated with a breast lift. In some patients, that have more significant volumes that are transferred, they can actually have breast augmentation associated with this transfer. This procedure is called an autoaugmentation of the breast combined with a circumferential upper body lift.
