Thanks for your question. From you pictures, you seem to be a good candidate for the BBL. For the BBL, the fat is transferred to the hip and buttocks area. You surgeon will consider you goals and what can be done for your anatomy. I recommend you schedule a consult for a proper evaluation. Make sure your surgeon you choose has extensive experience with BBLs and clean credentials. Always consult with a board certified plastic surgeon. Take care, Moises Salama MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon
Thanks for the question. In this regard, I recommend you waist and back Liposculpture, getting better curves especially in the waist, improving your body contour. Finally, I suggested take the fat we get and transfer to the buttocks and hips, to mold them and get better volume, contour and butt projection, is that we know as "Brazilian Butt Lift" (BBL).Kind regards
Dear Lilac2413,based on your photos, you look like a good candidate for a BBL. Liposuction of your abdomen, back and flanks should give you more curves and hourglass shape and fat transfer to buttocks should give you more projection. I would suggest you to consult a board-certified plastic surgeon because only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.Daniel Barrett, MDCertified, American Board of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Plastic SurgeryMember, American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery
You don't need to gain any weight before your BBL--you have enough fat for what we call a skinny BBL. The video will help to explain it but essentially you have good fatty deposits in your love handle region and in your tummy to perform a BBL. Most people tend to think they need a lot more fat than they do.
Usually, fat transfer would extend to adjacent areas, such as hips, in order to give a more natural look.
Thanks for posting the excellent photos, it really helps to respond. You are very under weight and have limited fat sites to lipo for transfer. This is called a "SKINNY BBL". You do not have enough donor or transferrable fat for more than maybe to fill your hip dips. Therefore you can think of a "COMPOSITE SKINNY BBL" - or a combination of lipo/fat transfer/with Sculptra injections in #'s of vials (around 40). Just that combination fee is $18,000. If adding full lift w/o implants the total fee $25,000. Just giving you more information to think about.
I’ve viewed the BBL as a body cont touring procedure not as a procedure to make the buttocks larger. For me the goal is to create large swooping S curves that go from the knees to the armpits. If in creating that S-curve fat is in the way then it is removed. If they are ya is lacking volume then fat is added. This can include some or most of the hip and outer thigh and for some patience it means removing fat from these areas. To me the goal is not to create a lollipop but to create smooth harmonious S curves. In my practice the great majority of BBL procedures have fat added to the hips and thighs but it is based on what each person needs and to some degree what the patient is requesting.I do the BBL with my patient laying on their side to emphasize these curves ideally.I see plastic surgeons specifically do liposuction of the outer thigh I think in order to create a greater juxtaposition for a larger buttocks. This gives what I call the lollipop appearance which is highly unnatural and undesirable. It is also quite difficult to fix once created.Delivering consistent high-quality Liposuction and BBL results is more difficult than most people believe.Especially for the BBL.Results are literally all over the spectrum. Considering the permanence and somewhat irreversible nature of the procedure I recommend all patients have a substantial number of in person consultations to pick the most experienced and talented plastic surgeon who seems to have an idea that is consistent with what you’re trying to achieve.During in person consultations ask each provider to show their entire collection of before and after pictures. The goal is not to see the best three or four results of their career but to see what the best results, average results and less than results look like. This also gives patients a chance of seeing how many procedures the surgeon has performed. An experienced provider should have no difficulty showing you 50 or more sets of before and after pictures.Highly experienced surgeons will have hundreds or possibly thousands. In the end the surgeon is responsible for the outcome but the patient is responsible for choosing the provider and in this case who does the procedure has a major impact on what their results and up like.I also recommend reading all reviews on various physician review websites avoiding providers for any significant number of justified negative reviews. The absence of justified negative reviews is more important and more telling than an abundance of positive reviews.Best,Mats Hagstrom MD
It is common to not only fat graft to the buttocks during a Brazilian Butt Lift surgery, but also fat graft to the lateral hips in order to achieve a more natural curve with smooth transitions.Based on your pictures, you are an excellent candidate for a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL). The optimal BBL outcomes are achieved with: 1) use of VASER liposuction to harvest the fat, 2) a closed looped system such as Puregraft to process the fat, and 3) strategic micro-packet transplant technique. These three processes have demonstrated over 95% fat graft take. This means that your results will be stable as long as you maintain your weight. As an official VASER trainer, I am routinely referred unhappy BBL patients. One of the most common reasons for disgruntled BBL patients is that patients are not able to accurately communicate their desired buttocks goals to their surgeons. A buttocks assessment tool can be an invaluable tool to communicate to your surgeon the exact buttocks size and shape you are desiring. A Skype or FaceTime consultation with a BBL specialist can help you get an accurate recommendation and pricing. Respectfully, Arian Mowlavi MD, FACSRealself 100 Hall of Fame Inductee
Hi and welcome to our forum!Your lateral view photo doesn't expose the buttocks. However, I note a large hanging abdominal pannus and a full abdomen. Your height and weight data place your BMI at 36.8, a bit on the high side. BMI, or body mass index (weight in kg / square of height in meters) is...
