Im having surgery this monday december 18th my throat hurts. Ive been making my self ginger tea with lemon and honey, is this safe? And aldo I being taking vitamin c and I got a b12 shoot and feeling better.
Answer: Ginger tea I would suggest discussing this with your surgeon. I would advise you to not drink ginger tea since ginger may increase the risk of bleeding. If you are only having liposuction, the risk would be low.

Answer: Contact your Doctor about ginger tea before your procedure I recommend following up with your surgeon about their protocol for drinking ginger tea before your procedure. For best results with liposuction, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. I would avoid drinking ginger tea with lemon prior to surgery because ginger can lead to an increased risk of bleeding. However, do not drink anything after midnight prior to surgery.
