My experience with Dr. Lorenzo was an impeccable one! He made me feel at home from the first moment I stepped into his office for a consultation. He knew I was terrified of getting a nasal procedure but his comforting presence made it the most pleasant experience I have had thus far! I had a rhinoplasty and it looks as if I was born with my nose. I am beyond thankful to have met Dr. Lorenzo and I will certainly be visiting him in about 7 months for another procedure.
Great treat! The best surgern I ever met. 100% recommend. Humble and dedicated men, all the process was good, he dedicate every minute of his time to take care of me, i feel like i was at home. Thanks doctor.
I did a breast augmentation and a tummy tuck, of course separately. Before getting these procedures done on me, I looked up on the records of many doctors and asked for many people's opinions, and belive me, the best opinions and records were from Doctor Guillermo Lorenzo. I made sure that the doctor that was going to make a plastic procedure on my body had to belong to the ''Society of Plastic Sergeons of the Dominican Republic, and Doctor Lorenzo is an active member of this this society. It made me more confident that I was going to be in good hands. In addition to being an extraordinary human being treating his patients, he's a perfectionist doctor. He's a very expeienced doctor, this has giving him the power when making any kind of plastic procedures to anyone, of leaving you, beyond your expectations. I was totally satisfied and this leads me to make the very best of the recommendation on any type of surgery that you choose to do on your body. I also noticed that he has all the most moderns medical equipments and this give you more confidence that you are in the best hands.I trust him 100% as a great and perfectionist surgeon.
wao the best surgeon after God my Dr has everything a patient wants patience, dedication time is the best human being that can exist and is what makes him so excellent surgeon I am his patient for 13 years and every day I am more Satisfied with him and his excellent work team because make you feel that you are part of them that you are in Flia thanks Dr and never change your humanitarian way of being with your patients and the people in general God bless you always!
Doctor Guillermo Lorenzo is one of the best professionals in medicine in his specialty of aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. In his practices, ethics, honesty and most importantly the human are evident. I have had several experiences in this type of surgeries and I never I had felt so satisfied with such a professional job and the surgeon's way of treating and caring for each of his patients, busy and concerned that everything is excellent and the way that unites the families of his patients to pray and pray that everything come out in divine order. I ask the Lord to bless him and a lot of life for Dr. Guillermo Lorenzo to continue doing the work that he has entrusted to him through his hands can transform the lives of many ladies who like me are more happy and sure of themselves.
Dr.Lorenzo was an amazing doctor. He’s so welcoming and so is his staff . They make you feel at home and tend to every need . They are a phone call away when needed or if you have any questions and concerns. My body came out better then i expected . I felt in good hands the whole month i was in care .
It was a very expirience, first when I get to the clinic and met him I noticed this doctor was so humble and make me feel confident that everything will be good, he did explain me everything and ask me if I have any questions. The day of the surgery he pray with me and the nurse before the surgery. With the surgery and the recuperation process everything was good he was always in disposition to attend to me. Such a good experience.

I wish you all the best in your recoveries and future procedures. I wish Love and Health period!! Xoxo Now on to my little review. Ive always had big breast was a 32dd in 6th grade and probably weighed 100lbs. How awkward.. Well when I was 19 I considered surgery but said Nope Ill wait till i have kids. They were big but nice and full. Fast forward a few bambinos and these Girls were facing south BIG TIME I couldn't even see my nips or feet anymore. I visit a few Docs I was impressed by them but still not 100% convinced and for the cost I need to feel whole hearted about my decision. I had a really Bad lipo job done a few yrs earlier that caused me depression and a disfigured tummy so I was a little turned of to having more surgery. Lets not dwell on the negative. :)) After much research my husband's family member suggested a Dr. In the Dominican Republic. I wasn't interested at first because I looked at BR in DR and I didn't like anyones work. I did see some awesome lipo and BBL and Tummy Tucks.. It was hard to find pics of the recommended Dr. Work but the few I found did convince me and when I spoke to his staff I said okay let me go meet with him if I don't like his work I can just say no. He doesn't email pics and He is very under the radar to people here in the states but in DR he is one of the BEST. I like that he wasn't pressed about not being soo "popular" the cool kid.. Lol He is though amongst the surgeons in DR. He's trained Brazil. Well I arrived Dec.2 had a few hiccups but after a week of making sure my health was good we did the BR. I am sooo happy!!!!! Very little pain im so shocked. Just restricted movement. He did BR with a lift and lipo of my axillas and I think he did a little of the bra fat area. I'm sooo sooo happy I did this I am so happy I choose him. And after seeing some of his other patients who look super natural and Beautiful. I will be be coming back!! I cant describe the feeling of putting on a button up that actually closed!! I know its early and I am only a fews days post op but I know it was the best thing I ever did. To anyone contemplating stop living in pain and discomfort and probably a little depressed ( i know i was). Your time might be now if everything is falling into place Just Do it!! Updated on 22 Dec 2013: Well ladies I am 10 days post op. when I posted before that I didnt have drains I was wrong! I have to pieces of plastic sticking out the sides. They are going to be removed tomorrow. I havent bern able to take an actual full shower so I smell pretty darn bad!!! I can really see my incisions much cause the fullnes of the breast pretty much cover it. I still have stitches and that tape over them. Im Glad I can say I stil have close to no pain at all in the breast except those little zingers. The areas that were lipoed hurt and the massage therapy is a nightmare!! I tried to add some pics but they keep coming out in half. I wonder If my nipple is going riseup more as I heel as of right now I feel they are a little to low. But cant complain cause what i had before im still amazed I was even able to get these results. It weird to me when they are putting my bra on they lift my boobs and I get nervous cause I think something is going to pop. But nope nothing Updated on 3 Jan 2014: Happy New Year Ladies!! Im still here in the Good Ole DR Healing from my Wonderful life changing breast reduction.lol They removed my stitches today. So I tried to take some pics to share with you guys. I think I liked them better with the gauze covering the nipples! I was looking at my scars and Im really impressed with how thin they are. Im only having one problem my surgical bra isn't lifting the girls up enough and they want them lift!! So they heal that way. The Dr. Explained to me that as the breast is healing it lifts more and the nipple get higher. But even when little these Girls just wanna do their own thing and are still heavy to be so small. Im dying to hit the gym!!' I put on a dress i already owned for New Years and the way it fits now is soooo different my Daughter was like Amazing!! The dress is seriously a little longer now! It hit hard that finally the nightmare of the huge boobs are over. Loving my results and They keep telling me i haven't seen nothing yet. Well its only been 3 weeks and I happy ans its going to get better It makes me wanna cry with joy no wait i think I actually have a few times. My scars a scabby right now but look way better i person the in the pics and lighter. Well have a nice day Enjoy the snow and To All Of You I Wish You HeaLth, Wealth, and lots of Love in the New Year and Eternity XoXo Updated on 4 Jan 2014: They Use this on me daily after wiping my breast down with pure water and antiseptic soap then they clean all my wounds and change the gauze and my bra. I am not allowed to wear the same bra for more than a day. These whole process is called curing you. Lots of care and Im really apreciative I dont think I could do all this on my own. Im healing well. Sometimes I dont smell to great lol but its okay. Lmao
Hello beautiful ladies!! I got surgery in Dominican Republic 4 years ago with the incredible Dr. Guillermo Lorenzo Ortiz. Everything went really smooth. I do not post any pictures because I don't want my pics to be all on the net, however, I love to participate and read your incredible journeys. The transformations are amazing inside and out. I have seen a big number of ladies opting to have surgery overseas, specifically in the Dominican Republic, this is why I am writing this post. I feel that some ladies have a negative feedback because of the misinformation. When getting surgery overseas, remember: 1- Dominican Republic or Mexico is not the United States. These are 3rd world countries, which means poverty is way higher than the United States. Poor people do not receive any help or assistance from the government. No welfare, no section 8, no coupons, no social security benefits .I'm not trying to batch our nation, however, our people who have less get help. For them, its all on their own.Overseas you can find places that any of us might never afford not even in our dreams, others not as nice. We are blessed. 2- Don't expect technology to be as updated as the United States. Yes, there are hospitals like the Homs(best in the Caribbean), Cedimat , Corazones Unidos, ABC Hospital in Mexico City and CIMA in Hermosillo who have technology as good as the USA, others don't. I did my research before having surgery. What they have gets the job done. If you are experiencing problems after your procedure, go to one of those hospitals or the embassy. Choose wisely, if you cannot handle this, stay in the United States. It might be more expensive, but you might have less worries and anxiety. 3- I really get upset when girls batch another country because of their culture, specially girls who have never been outside USA and expect their standards to be the same. (Sorry, not trying to be rude) Are you evaluating the country or reviewing you surgery journey???. Don't make your bad experience with the doctor, the nurses, the RH to be something about the whole country. I have bee in DR million of time vacationing, and by far is one of the nicest places I have been to in terms of culture and people.( I love to travel, and I have been in more than 15 countries#not bragging) They have their own way of driving, talking, and doing things. Its not wrong ,its just different. Who are us to criticize them?? 4- I really love Mamacita1987, RangeRova83, and Cray Cray journeys...and some many others. I think they are impartial. Be nice, and they will be nice to you. Don't go there with an attitude because customer service is handle in a different way. They will give you attitude back. Smile, they will smile back. I read one comment once somebody said that if the "dollars givers will stop going there to have surgery things would change with Yily's attitude"... really?? i do not approve her "attitude" or her bedside manner sometimes. However, that woman have people from all the Dominican Republic plus Europe coming to her. She works at public hospitals too. All of them do. It might help, but she doesn't needs dollars to have a good living in DR. Nobody is gonna kiss your a** because of it. They are really straight forward. 5-Recovery house staff are not slaves. When I got surgery, in the RH, I saw people calling the nurses to give them a glass of water that was next to their hand, or the remote control. You got surgery, but you are not handicapped. 6- Speak up. If you are getting red flags... talk. Let them know through your recovery house manager, or your translator. Do not do the surgery if you don't feel comfortable. Ask for questions before and after surgery. Double check. If some things are different from expected, leave. If food is unhealthy, talk to the doctor or manager. If the clinic is not up to your standards, take a flight back. They are plenty of options to stay. Beautiful and clean. Its an island, you will have thousands of hotels. Is your money that you have the right to pay for what you want. 7- Yily, Duran, Cabral, Contreras, Campos, Cardenas Ortiz and Baez are not the only doctors. They have a lot more. Research, research, research. Sometimes negative reviews come from popular doctors because the care is not personalized. If that bothers you, this is solved as easy as choosing another non-popular doctor. There are good doctors in Santiago, SFM...not just Santo Domingo. The same goes for Mexico, Jalisco, Guadalajara, Hermosillo...not just Tijuana. 8- I recommend everybody to go to DR or Mexico at least 3 days before your procedure. Don't just go and have surgery the same day. You can visit the recovery houses, the hotels and pick the doctor that you feel better with. If you can, visit the country months before your surgery. You can get a feeling of how things are and make an educated choice. 9- Its is really annoying when girls ask doctors of DR or Mexico to get them cheaper quotes. Their prices are their prices. People have different bodies so their quote might change, even if you are getting the same procedure. You wouldn't do that to US doctors, why do it to them??? You are paying way less than you would have pay in the US anyways. These doctors, nurses and driver work 12+ hours shifts. They have kids to feed. 10- Surgery in Dr or Mexico is not for EVERYONE. If you are used to get things your way...stay in the US, and avoid the drama. They are doctors in the US who can do a good job, even though, their sculpting skills is not on point in my opinion. This is an ELECTIVE surgery...RESEARCH, research, research... if you don't like what you see, leave. Well, beautiful ladies this was something I was trying to write long time ago. I was too busy with work. I am in my medical residency training, and it takes lots of my time. I I tried not to be rude with my comments. I apologize if this might hit some nerves...it wasn't my intention.Do not take me wrong, its your journey . You have your blogs and opinions, and I respect it.. I did not write this to create a she said and he said situation, however, I feel that sometimes people should be better informed about doing the procedures overseas. Its your life and your money. I wish you all a great journey to be a better you. Safe recovery and happy healing...if somebody has questions I will be more than happy to answer them. God bless you all!!!!
On November 16 2010 I had a tummy tuck and lipo in my back. When I got to the OR the doctor saw that I had a little bit of fat bet my upper thighs and also I had two small hole on both sides of my butt.while he was drawing my body to mark the incision I asked him how much would be to take care of that and he told me not worry that he will be taking care of that. And of course, I was so happy!!.. Before going to the OR they put me to sleep and then gave me a epidural anesthesia (not general). By the time I woke up everything as done. And my doctor was sitting right next to me to make sure I was comfortable. At the time He helped the nurse to clean me up. I left the next day and started my lymphatic massages on the fourth day, on the 10th day they remove my stitches and on the 14 day the drain since I had a lot of fluid on my body. Since I live in NY I keep going for my massages here. I'm planing to back back with the same Doctor for a breast reduction and lift without implants since the doctor restores the breast of women in D.R. of low income who had lost they're breast due cancer for free. If I have to do this I will do it all over again!! Updated on 30 Mar 2011: Updated on 5 Apr 2011:
HELLO, THANK YOU FOR THE PHOTOS AND YOUR CONCERN.THE IMPLANTS HAVE THEIR MEASURES ACCORDING TO THE TORAX OF EACH PATIENT, AND THE PTOSIS, MAYBE 600 CC IS A LOT FOR YOUR TORAX AND WE MUST UNDERSTAND THAT THE FALL DETERMINES IT AFTER PLACING YOU THE IMPLANT AND DEPENDING ON YOUR MEASURES, AT THE SAME TIME THE SIZE OF THE SCARLET ACCORDING TO THE SURGICAL TISSUE WHERE THERE IS. THE IMPLANTS WERE MADE FOR PATIENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE PTOSIS, WITH A MINIMUM CICATRIZ OF AGREEMENT THE ROUTE THAT IS USED. IN YOUR CASE YOU CAN USE THE IMPLANT MORE LIFTING, BUT YOU WILL HAVE A MINIMUM SCARLET, SO YOU WILL HAVE A BEAUTIFUL REACTION. THANKS AND I HOPE THAT MY ORIENTATION IS OF MUCH UTILITY. BLESSINGS.Member of the International Society of Aesthetic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISAPS)
THANKS FOR THE PHOTO AND YOUR CONCERN.IN THESE CASES THERE IS NO EVIDENCE OF INFECTIONS, IT IS ONLY MAINTAINING THE DAILY CURE WITH ITS ANTISEPTICOS AND THE ORIENTATION OF ITS P.S., WAITING FOR ITS CLOSURE BY SECOND INTENSION AND THEN IN THE EVENT THAT THE SCARLET IS NOT EQUAL, IS TO CHECK IT OUT AMBULATORY. QUIET, TRY TO MAINTAIN THE AREA WITH YOUR GAZA WHEN TAKING THE BATHROOMS. I HOPE THAT MY EXPLANATION HAS BEEN USEFUL. BLESSINGS.
Hello, thanks for the questions.MBI are the measures or parameters that indicate more or less if it is possible to undergo surgery or treat with a nutritionist until you have an adequate value in your weight in relation to height, in order to perform the procedure that the patient needs. They are norms established with the purpose of knowing if it is apt or not, with the purpose of security and the welfare of the patient. One more or one less does not determine that your PS is the one who will decide the best for you. Thank you and I hope that my answer will help you a lot. Good luck.Member of the International Society of Aesthetic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISAPS) Certified Plastic Surgeon with 26 years of experience.
Hello, thanks for the questions. While there is a process of edema and inflammation, combined with therapies for lymphatic drainage, it is possible to make a fever on some occasions, I think it is not an infection if with a simple analgesic the fevers have subsided. Usually the common bacteria are incubated or symptoms begin to be felt after 48 to 72 hours postoperatively. Only in some cases with some special bacteria that their growths do after 15 to 30 days that start their incubation., I think it is not your case because there are other signs and symptoms that accompany them. It is important to have a blood count and a PCR, a blood culture in case you notice the fever. You must communicate with your PS. for your follow-up. I hope that my answer will be very useful. Thanks and good luck.Member of the International Society of Aesthetic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISAPS) Certified Plastic Surgeon with 26 years of experience.
Hi, thanks for the questions. There is a gamma of analgesics for the treatment of pain, you do not have to worry about that, I'm sure your surgeon will tell you what you need and that it feels good to you as if he were at home. The important thing to talk with your PC. and tell them your threshold about the pain and so he will take all the necessary measures to make you feel comfortable and happy, calm, trust what your PC tells you. Good luck and happy Easter.Member of the International Society of Aesthetic for Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ISAPS) Certified Plastic Surgeon with 26 years of experience.
