I just got lipo yesterday and after 24 hours I was told I could take a shower. My stomach pooch is gone and it looks great. However my belly button looks weird. It looks tiny and squished. Well it go back to normal ? I need answers!!
Answer: Belly button looks extremely small after Lipo. Any suggestions? Thank you for your question. The change in appearance to your belly button is likely the result of the swelling that accompanies liposuction, and should return to its normal appearance with time. If a large amount of liposuction was performed, some belly buttons are not as "stretched" and may shrink in size. Allow your results to mature before assessing any changes to your belly button.

Answer: Post Liposuction Irregularities, Swelling -- Try Massage, Velashape or Venus Legacy With Your Compression I wouldn't look at the results at this time, as they are not the final outcome there is a lot of swelling. It will take 3-6 months to see the ultimate outcome. Consider massage and venus legacy treatments at this time. All my patients get hyperbaric oxygen for a week after hi definition liposuction. Best, Dr. Emer.

You undoubtedly have some swelling so soon after surgery and should expect the swelling to persist for weeks if not months. I typically advise patients to wait until at least 3 months to assess their result at which time the swelling will have subsided and the skin healed to its new contour.

Answer: Liposuction Without photos, it's impossible to say, but at this point, you are still swollen. Which will definitely affect how your belly button looks. As you swelling subsides, all should return to normal. Best, Dr. Nazarian
