Hello, I’m 44 and had facetite 2 years ago. My profile and jawline improved but I was left with a loose pocket of skin under my chin that drives me insane. What are my options now? Don’t think I’m ready for a neck lift but I if that’s the only way to address this I would consider it. I would prefer something less drastic if I could get a decent result. Thank you!!

Your platysmal bands are visible. Facetite also removes fat as well as tightening the skin. Usually platysmal bands become more prominent after fat removal but it difficult to make any connections here. A neck lift is your best remedy.

you have loose skin that needs a neck and facelift. if you want more improvement. for now doing morpheus every 2 months, threads every 6 months, and lasers like moxi will help give improvement. botox around the jawline and neck is great too for prevention. all our patients do thermage/ultherapy yearly to slow the process of aging down.

The neck muscle needs to be tightened. It can be approached from under the chin and sutured together. However the skin needs to drape over it properly and for that you need the skin lifted off with dissection and then you can trim excess skin under the chin.

This looks like the edges of your platysma muscle. It will probably need to be tightened via an incision under your chin. You could try some Botox in the muscle first to see if this provides any improvement before resorting to surgery.
