I am so glad I decided to go forward with my Ear Revision Procedure with Dr. Thorne. For "51 long years" I suffered daily looking at my ears after a "botched cosmetic procedure" by an unqualified doctor.

After retiring I thought ...well it's been a long time, let me at explore if any improvements are possible. I must admit I was skeptical because I really didn't believe anyone could help me and I almost cancelled my consultation with Dr. Thorne due to my own general skepticism.

Boy, am I glad that I didn't cancel! Dr. Thorne corrected my crazy "mishappened" ears so that they look normal and I was in total (good) shock. I can 'finally' wear my hair up without embarrassment. WOW!!! Thank you Dr. Thorne for doing such a wonderful job! One of the best decisions of my life.

After four years of living through absolute hell, I was blessed to find Dr. Charles Thorne. He was the fifteenth doctor I consulted. He is a gentleman, kind, experienced, knowledgeable, and most of all, he listened AND heard me. He was on time for every appointment. His staff is professional yet warm and friendly. Unlike the other doctors I had spoken to, he did not have an agenda. My concerns became his concerns. A New York City plastic surgeon with a Park Avenue address with fair fees. One in a million. He performed surgery on me on July 20th. As I thought, he found a massive amount of scar tissue in my face and sutures that never dissolved (foreign matter). He removed that entire mess and carefully redraped my skin.
As I write this, I am recovering nicely with minimal discomfort. This is the first time in a very long time the light of that very long tunnel is getting brighter and brighter. My advice to anyone who is struggling with facelift complications would be to make an appointment with Dr. Thorne. I can assure you that he will hear you, and if he can help you, he will. All I wanted was to feel better, which I do. Bonus - I'm also looking better! Score all the way around.

Post-op subcutaneous facelift and removal of scar tissue. Also, removal of sutures that never dissolved—finally feeling great at (almost ) 65 years old! These issues should have been addressed 3 years ago by my original surgeon.

These "dissolvable" sutures never dissolved, causing me much discomfort for almost four years. My original doctor told me he only used dissolvable sutures. Dr. Thorne removed them. He also removed scar tissue in my right cheek, areas on either side of my neck, and scar tissue that ran from my right jawline to the top of my right ear.

Plastic surgery is medical art. And Dr. Thorne is Picasso! Or, Rembrandt…..
I had a lip cheek and lip lift one week ago. There has been NO bruising, real pain or any complications. My face looks refreshed, younger and very much still my face.
Dr. Thorne has a genuine gift in terms of facial harmony and authenticity. You will never regret any procedure under his hands.
Plus, he is sweet, funny and generous.
The best of the best.

I have enjoyed all of my interactions with Dr. Thorne. In an understated way, he very accurately portrayed, much to my satisfaction, exactly what would happen and how the timing of it all would work. And I consider him an artist as a plastic surgeon as his work is flawless.

NO ONE noticed that I had some major work done and yet I look significantly better than beforehand. I am extremely happy with the rather major procedure he did on me and its results, along with the timing and healing, as no one had a clue as to what occurred - and yet my face and neck look many years better.

Dr. Throne is an amazing doctor and skilled surgeon. He has a great bedside manner and I was really comfortable and confident to use him for my surgery, He did an amazing job and I could not be happier with the results.

Dr. Thorne is unlike any surgeon I have ever met. Aside from his incredible talents as a surgeon, it's his contagious positivity, optimism, and encouragement has a human being that I will never ever forget. 

Dr. Thorne performed my septo-rhinoplasty and otoplasty and I’m thrilled to write that he exceeded my expectations. As a person he is incredibly classy, articulate, and caring. As a surgeon he is able to take his unmatched sense of proportion and aesthetics and deliver through surgery. His craft shows in every area of his work.

I had breathing and very specific aesthetic requests. Dr. Thorne helped me articulate exactly what I wanted, and together we made sure we were on the same page. He was gracious and comforting, knowing this was a big deal for me, and worked closely with me to get it right.

I'm just over one month post-surgery, though there is still minor expected swelling, I'm ecstatic with the outcome. It keeps looking better and better as the swelling subsides. I can breathe clearly out of my nose for the first time in my life. My nose looks like a proportionate, elegant, and better version of my old nose, which is exactly what I wanted. I'm surprised how seamless it was getting used to my new nose that I actually forget about it. It just looks right!

As for the otoplasty, I’m equally thrilled that my ears no longer protrude and I consider them to be perfect now.

I initially researched many doctors to be extra confident with my choice. I searched through numerous lists of ‘top doctors’ for comparison and although many were impressive, not one (in my opinion) truly perfected the uniquely natural nose for each individual except for Dr. Thorne.

Dr Thorne is an excellent plastic surgeon who genuinely cares about the well being of his patients. His expertise, combined with his artistic talent, gives you a natural and beautiful look. Dr. Thorne listens and communicates and his exceptional staff emulates his kindness and professionalism.
