Dear Mylove, When you decide to have breasts augmentation surgery, you should not choose the type of implants or the tools for surgery, but rather, choose a quality surgeon, in order to avoid bad result and need for getting corrective surgery. Always , consult with experienced board certified plastic surgeons who operate in accredited surgery center for your safety. Most importantly, check the before and after pictures in the photo gallery, to make sure that they are numerous, consistent and attractive with nice cleavage, perky, symmetrical and natural looking. The goal of surgery is to increase your confidence, your self esteem and your sense of femininity. The type of implants is irrelevant for those goals. You should select the surgeon that achieves the most attractive results to your liking. Best of luck, Dr Widder
Mentor, Allergan, and the new Ideal breast implants are FDA approved breast implants with a wonderful track record in the US. There are many other implants, including Motiva Plus, that are used outside the US. I'm sure that many of those implants are great, but US plastic surgeons are familiar with Ideal, Mentor, and Allergan and they know about the wonderful history of safety and reliability of those implants and that is why they use them.Thank you for your question!Dr. Schreiber
