Hello everyone, I am 31 yrs old and i have had 2 lipo procedures and my last one was april of 2022. My question is why do i still have waves on my back..i mean you can literally surf on this back and im not really understandin y..and yes they were lipo 360 can some please tell me what is the problem and if the reason is me needing a back lift instead of having lipo please and thanks
Answer: No more waves!! Hello, indeed you have several folds of skin, it is not fat as such what you have, to improve the appearance it is necessary to remove the excess skin with a cut in the bra line so that the back is without the waves.

Answer: Liposuction or back lift horizontal torsoplasty back skin rolls back fat treatment of back fat back liposuction back fat Hi Persistent533489 in Biloxi, thank you for your question regarding why your back still looks like waves and could this be loose back skin after having had lipo 360 twice. Thank you for your history and your pictures. Since you had Lipo 360 performed twice, most of your back fat has been removed. You were left with excess back skin. The only way to get rid of excess back skin is with the removal of the removal of back skin with a back lift or Torsoplasty. Basically, there are two ways to perform a back lift. Either an incision can be made horizontally or vertically. During a horizontal back lift or torsoplasty, an incision is made across the middle of your back. Typically, the incision is placed so it can be hidden under your bra strap. Indeed, the horizontal torsoplasty is also called a bra strap lift, or a bra plasty. During the horizontal torsoplasty, a large butterfly-shaped area of skin and fat is removed from the upper back. Alternatively, if you cannot live with his scar across your back, you may opt for a vertical torsoplasty. During your vertical torsoplasty, an incision is made from your armpit down your sides to your hips. During a vertical torsoplasty, a large elliptical area of skin and fat is removed from your sides and the back rolls are pulled tightly. Both the horizontal and vertical torsoplasty are performed in the general anesthesia. Each procedure is takes approximately 4 to 6 hours to complete. Both forms of back lifts are outpatient surgeries. Plan on a 2 to 3 recovery. Drains will be required for approximately 1 to 2 weeks. I hope I have clarified that you now have back rolls of skin that need to be treated with a back lift. Good luck with your back lift. Sincerely, Dr. J.T. Katzen

Answer: Bra Line Excision The only way to effectively treat these areas is with skin excision. After removing the excess subcutaneous tissue you have excess skin remaining. Because of this, skin excision is the only way to improve your contour. This will leave a scar across your back in the "bra line," however the contour of your back will be greatly improved.

Answer: Back rolls Back rolls are the result of your genetics to develop saggy skin, even though you are very young, your high BMI which is not helping much with the residual fat. So it will be mandatory to lose some weight, get a thorough liposuction and the combination with Back lift. No liposuction as single procedure will eliminate the saggy back rolls and no energy will tighten that saggy skin. Be encouraged! Dr. Cárdenas
