After substantial weight loss a couple of years ago, I know I need to get a tummy tuck and breast lift/reduction. Do I also require a back lift? Thank you.

Answer: I don’t think so Hello, from the photos it does not seem that you have excess skin on the upper back, the truth is that the skin retracted a lot in your case, probably only with the circular abdominoplasty and removing all the excess skin in the lower part of the body is enough.

Answer: Not enough tissue While there seems to be some minimal excess tissue on this area, I would not recommend performing a formal back lift. The scar will be large for the associated gain in contour. There may be more tissue on an in person exam than the picture would show, however with the amount of skin laxity I can see on the picture I would not recommend a back lift at this time.
