I have excess skin from weightloss and I believe i need a backlift some say liposuction will fix it but I don't think so. Also is it ok to combine with breast lift?
Answer: Back lift It is wonderful what you have achieved after weight loss. You have already a beautiful body bone frame and that will be a nice foundation for a great result. You have thickness (fat) and developed saggy skin on your mid and upper back, lateral torso ( the fat bulging on the sides of breast) and lateral abdomen. So you will be a great candidate for liposuction to entire back, lateral torso and sides of abdomen, Back lift (brassiere line incision), lateral torsoplasty (vertical incision from armpit to the horizontal incision) in order to remove excess of width and connect the horizontal incision with the breast lift one. The goal will be to achieve a nice and tight and smooth back, lateral torso and sides of abdomen. Your buttocks are also saggy and have a very distinctive bulging right in top of buttocks, so you are also candidate to complete the 360 incision to do a real buttocks lift. Be encouraged!!! You will look awesome. Dr. Cárdenas.

Answer: Back lift Congratulations on your weight loss! From the submitted photos it appears you are a candidate for a back/bra line lift. This will address the loose skin of the upper back. The incision is horizontal and designed to be hidden under a bra line. Liposuction will remove fat but it does not address the skin laxity.

Answer: Hello Because you lose weight, you skin hangs all over the center, so went you do the tummy tuck the proper procedure to perform was 360 tummy tuck, I think that you need to complete the tummy tuck yo the back part in order to lift the buttocks, and for the upper back, looks like you have lose skin just in the sides, so probably you need to remove skin in de sides, and the arms

Answer: Choosing a Back Lift for Excess Back Skin Thank you for your question about when a back lift is needed for excess back skin after weight loss. Given your history of weight fluctuations and now permanent weight loss, your skin has experienced multiple changes over the years. Since your skin's ability to rebound naturally may not be as it was when you were younger, I believe you would benefit more from a back lift than from counting on your body's ability to snap back. There are two main types of back lifts: horizontal and vertical. A horizontal lift involves a horizontal incision across your back, from the outer corner of one breast to the other, after which a large flap of skin and fat is removed from your back. The end result is a linear scar across your back. With a vertical lift, an incision is made from the armpit down your sides, and a large amount of skin and fat is directly removed from each side, creating an hourglass figure. Both types have their merits, and your recovery posture (on your back) will be important in either case. I hope this answers your questions regarding when it's better to opt for a back lift over relying on your skin's natural elasticity.

Answer: Would Help Lateral Fullness Overall you have had an excellent outcome from your other body contouring procedures. The back lift would help with the fullness in the upper lateral back area and would better contour the outer aspect of the breast. The scar is well hidden typically and the downtime in minimal compared to other body contouring procedures.

Answer: Back lift with breast lift Your photos suggest skin excess in the bra role and upper back area. This is most reliably treated with an upper body lift, which can be done at the same time as a breast lift. Combining back and breast lift ensures harmonious transition from front to back through the bra role area.
