Answer: Post-op swelling Thank you for the question. At 3 months post-op, it's much to early to evaluate your final results and contemplate another procedure. Most likely you still experience some swelling, which may take 6 to 12 months to resolve completely.Although some physicians recommend massaging swollen and lumpy areas, it's effectiveness is not entirely confirmed. I'd suggest that you give it time and let healing process complete naturally. If your swelling persists months after the procedure, you should notify your plastic surgeon. An in-person exam with a board certified plastic surgeon is always the best way to fully assess your needs and address your concerns. Best of luck!

Answer: Tummy tuck Hi, sun1965It is difficult to assess you without in-person evaluation. The upper abdominal bulge may be due to intra-abdominal fat protrusion, excess extrabdominal fat, swelling, or fluid collection. The "shelf" above the incision may be improved with liposuction. Please share your concern with your plastic surgeon. You may also seek a second opinion in-person.Best regards.
