White dots on my lip line after 3 days post Juvederm?

This is difficult to answer without a picture. This could be caused by superficially placed filler, swelling or fordyce spots. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with your injector. If necessary, it can be reversed with hyaluronidase. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer

There's three things that can cause white dots on the lips after a filler injection. These are the injectable product itself, swelling and small glands that become swollen and look more prominent. Based on your description, these sound like those glandular structures called Fordyce spots. They should get better soon.

See your injector at 2 weeks for appropriate follow up.

Hopefully you had the Juvederm filler with a physician whom you should consult now.  The little pimples that drained could be a cold sore infection and there is medication that can be prescribed.  The yellow dots could be Fordyce spots, normal glands found in the lip that are more noticeable now with swelling from the Juvederm.

I would see your provider and make sure that this doesn't represent a herpetic outbreak. It is possible the trauma from the injection created a cold sore, particularly in people with a history of them. With it being raw, this is my primary concern.

It is difficult to render an opinion without a photo.  I recommend a phone call or possible evaluation by your injector to be sure that you have your questions answered.  He/She is the person to best advise you.
