Are my boobs tuburous? I've never liked them, I've always hated how pointy they are and how long my nipples are. Would plastic surgery help or would it just make them big but pointy? Thanks in advance for your answers.
Answer: Does not seem to be tuberous Based on your photos, your breasts do not seem to be tuberous but ptotic. They can be improved by lifting procedures along with the use of implants. It will best to consult a board certified plastic surgeon who is experienced in cosmetic breast surgery in person and discuss your goals and options after a physical examination.Hope this helps,Ali Rıza Öreroğlu, MD FEBOPRASEuropean and Turkish Board Certified Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive SurgeonIstanbul, Turkey

Answer: The Bellesoma Method Your breasts are not tuberous but ptotic. I recommend The Bellesoma Method to reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed are maintained. At the same time or later, fat transfers can be performed if additional volume is desired.Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Don't appear to be tuberous It doesn’t look like you have tuberous breasts. There is no constriction of tissue around your areolae, your areolae aren’t puffy and you appear to have a visible breast fold that is indicative of a normal breast shape. If you’d like to reshape your breasts, you can consider a possible breast lift to make them perkier and breast augmentation to make them larger. Your nipples may also be reshaped to make them less “pointy”.

Answer: Breast evaluation Hello and thank you for your question. You do not appear to have tuberous breasts. You are a great candidate for a breast augmentation. The size, profile, and shape of the implant is based on your desired breast size/shape, your chest wall measurements, and soft tissue quality. This decision should be based on a detailed discussion with equal input from both you and your surgeon. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. The most important aspect is to find a surgeon you are comfortable with. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified plastic surgeon who can evaluate you in person. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon
