I keep hearing rumors that tummy tuck surgery causes your vagina to permanently become dry, is this a true side effect? It's really deterring me from getting one.

Having an improved contour of your abdomen would not do anything to the moisture, or lack thereof, in your vagina. If the mons is lifted that area may look better, but that would not cause vaginal dryness either. If a patient with vaginal dryness had a recent tummy tuck, she might wonder if the two are related, but they are not. That timing would be coincidental.
