I had a successful Tummy Tuck, Muscle Plication and Liposuction (21days post op). I'm very satisfied with the procedure but my Faja digs into my skin. I make sure it's not too lose or too tight. I use the lipo foams but I'm still in a lot of pain from the Faja. I'm not even in pain from the surgery. While wearing the Faja when I stand from sitting or laying it's like the Faja creates a suction on my skin where the muscles were repaired. Now, this hurts more than the surgery. Suggestions :-(

Answer: Tummytuck Recovery I appreciate your concern, however your faja should be snug but certainly not painful or uncomfortable. I would discuss this issue with your plastic surgeon and in the meantime you may consider switching to a different elastic garment like Spanx. Best to check in with your plastic surgeon however. Good luck.

Answer: Are there any alternatives for the faja or lipo foam/faja combination? (photos) Thank you for sharing your question and photographs and congratulations on your procedure. In most cases the garments used after any procedure should be snug and not tight. They are there to limit tissue swelling which increases patient discomfort. I would talk to your surgeon about either a different garment use, such as Spanx or Marena group, as well as a larger size to improve your recovery comfort. Hope this helps.
