I Loved Dr Medalie & Michelle
It’s day 1 12/4/25 & I want to start my review & once swelling is down I will add photos , I’ll try to update weekly . Day 1 the pain is pretty intense but tolerable with lots of rest , ice & pain meds mostly ICE . I only got the numbing no Avitan & it wore off as soon as the procedure was done so pick up meds immediately & if you have anyone to assist you I do recommend it . It mostly feels like a burning sensation , the doctor and his staff Michelle were super nice & personable very nice people. So far , I don’t regret this experience . Updated on 11 Dec 2025: I’m one week post–labiaplasty (wedge) with a hood reduction and wanted to share a quick update. The numbing was the most uncomfortable part for me, and if you’re sensitive to pain, anesthesia may be worth considering. Michelle was incredibly supportive throughout the entire procedure. This week I experienced increased swelling (which peaked around days 3–7), bruising on both the minora and majora, some light bleeding, and a lot of sensitivity around the clitoral hood area. Constipation has also been an issue due to fear of straining, so I’ve purchased Arnica, bromelain, and milk of magnesia to help. I live in Las Vegas, so staying cool and avoiding moisture has been challenging. I haven’t worn underwear or pads to prevent irritation on the stitches, and I’m grateful I’ve had the week off work. I did run out of pain medication sooner than expected and wish I had been prescribed a little more, as the hood reduction caused a lot of discomfort. Although I’m still swollen and not thrilled with the appearance at this stage, I trust Dr. Medalie and I’m looking forward to seeing how things heal over the next few weeks.
