Does applying topical hyaluronic acid serum after injection of hyaluronic acid-based dermal fillers like Voluma enhance the effect of the injections by making them last longer? What have you seen in practice? Thank you.
Answer: For your skin concern: Great question! It is ideal to utilize products that complement what you are doing in-office. We recommend a product that will help amplify skin’s own natural hyaluronic levels, such as SkinCeuticals H.A. Intensifier. This product is a multifunctional corrective serum that reduces the look of crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, and marionette lines for smoother, firmer skin. Clinical studies demonstrate that this product may be used as part of a home skincare regimen after injectable treatments. Always make sure to consult with your physician. Hope this helps.

Answer: Voluma & HA Serum It's basically apples and oranges. Voluma works beneath the skin while any HA serum is topical. The latter can certainly improve your skin tone and texture which will improve your overall appearance, but it will not affect the Voluma. Hope this helps.
