After Voluma cheek filler, how long does your face stay swollen? If given in one part of face does it cause swelling in another?

The hyaluronic acid-based filler Voluma may cause some very mild swelling for one to two weeks. It will not, however, cause swelling in any areas that were not treated. Voluma works to add some volume immediately, but you will get your full results after about a month when the product has fully integrated into your tissue.  It also stimulates new collagen, so the results will last for up to two years. Thank you for sharing your question.  Swelling after Voluma is typically minimal and resolves over a few days.  The filler takes up to 2-4 weeks to soften and mature in its results.  Placement into one area will not cause swelling in another, however.  Hope this helps.
