Thank you for your question. CoolScupting is a safe procedure for the abdomen following a full-healed hernia repair. Best to seek a consultation with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss best options for your particular circumstances. Good luck.
Yes, there should be no problem considering Coolsculpting at this point as long as it has healed and you do not have any active problems caused by the hiatal hernia.
Yes, you can have Coolsculpting after hiatal hernia repair, if you're a candidate. Keep in mind, for best results with Coolsculpting, a combination approach is needed. I recommend adding radiofrequency treatments like Vanquish for skin tightening and with Z wave/Cellutone for skin smoothing. However, Vaser with ThermiRF procedure is the best combination for a toned result, but requires more downtime. See an expert. Best, Dr. Emer
Thank you for your question. There should be no issue with you undergoing CoolSculpting treatments if you are healthy and have no issues related to the hiatal hernia. That being said, my advice would be to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area so that they can examine you in person and ensure that the procedure if safe for you. Good luck!
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have Coolsculpting as long as your hernia is fully healed and you do not have any active problems. I recommend having a consultation with an expert to determine if you are a good candidate for treatment. Best of Luck!
How was your hernia repaired? Hiatus hernias are when a small part of the stomach slides upwards through the diaphragm into the chest. As long as you have no further issues resulting from your hiatus hernia, you should be able to have Coolsculpting with no issues. If you have any ongoing issues from the hernia, or any other hernias from other surgical scars, you may need further review by a surgeon prior to your Coolsculpting treatment.
There should be no problem after a hiatal hernia repair, which is inside your abdomen in the diaphragm. It is wise to exercise caution around a scar and place applicators on either side of it rather than across it. It will reduce about 20-25% of the fat with each treatment. Good luck!
No problem! There's absolutely no problem with doing a Coolsculpting treatment on the abdomen if you had a hiatal hernia and surgical repair that long ago. Our main concern is with umbilical hernias that have not been repaired or patients that have had very recent surgery on the abdomen. Best of luck!
Fab Diva,A history of hiatal hernia repair does not preclude treatment with CoolSculpting. Treatment of subcutaneous fat with this device will not affect your previous surgery. If you had an umbilical hernia (hernia that happens around the belly button) repair, there might be concern, but in your case, it will be fine. Hope this helps,Dr. Garry K. Kim
Thanks for your great question. Your type of hernia will not be affected by the Coolsculpting procedure, so no worries! Best wishes.

I think this depends on each patient. I would not recommend in someone who is having active disease. For example, someone who has Crohn's disease with ongoing bowel symptoms of pain, bleeding, etc., I would not recommend until the symptoms have stabilized. I would recommend that you do a ful...
You ask a good question, thank you. Coolsculpting may be performed multiple times in the same area as long as there is pinch-able fat to treat. There is no published clinical evidence that suggests that multiple Coolsculopting treatments increase the risk of developing hyperplasia. Your ...
