Dr. Ayoub and his entire staff are absolutely phenomenal. For context, I have lost over 200 pounds and as you can imagine I am now left with a lot of extra skin. Most of that extra skin was on my backside, thighs and tummy. I met with Dr. Ayoub and he recommended doing a lower body lift. At the time of this review, I am two weeks postop. I am just blown away by the results so far, Dr. Ayoub and his entire staff were incredibly caring and thoughtful. I explained my previous issues with surgeries regarding developing hematomas and he took extra precautions to help minimize that potential complication. Excellent surgical facility wonderful nursing staff wonderful post care instructions. My recovery is going well and I got my drains out this morning. I will return to this review and provide updates on my longer-term recovery, as well as Upload photos. Updated on 5 Jan 2024: Adding the night before surgery and six weeks postop photos. Loving the results so far. My incision is healed really nicely. I have no open wounds. I go back to see the doctor tomorrow for my six week postop check up.
I am 1 week out of my breast implant surgery and I am in love with my results! I never took a pain pill and had minimal swelling! Dr Ayoub was phenomenal!! The nurses and Anesthesia specialists at Bergan Mercy Medical Center were seriously the best I’ve ever had! Hands down the best surgical experience ever!!! I will not hesitate to have Dr Ayoub and team with any future updates to my body!! : )
A doctor that cares. I have been on a journey to get a problem with my breast augmentation addressed. I knew I finally was with the right doctor when Dr. Ayoub walked into the room. For several years I have been dealing with increasing scar tissue in my right breast. The shape of my breast was changing and it was becoming hard. When I went back to the surgeon who initially did the surgery, I was told that another augmentation would address the issue. My family practice doctor felt it was a medical condition and I needed to get it addressed. Again, I was told by a cosmetic surgeon that another augmentation would address the problem. I moved to Nebraska and again my new family practice doctor told me I needed to get my situation addressed and had me get an MRI. I then went to another plastic surgeon in my current city. The MRI recommended a biopsy. This surgeon did not mention my MRI report and recommended that I get an augmentation to solve my issue. I went online and found Westfield Plastic Surgery Center. When Dr. Ayoub walked in the exam room door he was reading my MRI report. He then told me that this visit would be a medical visit. He then ordered that an aspiration be done for testing. My prayers had been answered. I finally found a doctor that was concerned about my health and was approaching this as a medical condition. Only after receiving the initial test results, which were negative, did we proceed to the cosmetic procedure to remove the implants, have a capsulectomy, and a breast lift. He then sent the implants to be tested and additional test ran to make sure I was cancer free. On a Sunday during my recovery, I had a concern. I called the office and left a message for Dr. Ayoub. He returned my call within minutes and with a great demeanor (considering I was calling him on a weekend) reassured me that my recovery was on track. I am cancer free and the breast lift results have far exceeded expectations. Oh, I cannot forget the staff. They are wonderful! Friendly, down to earth, caring, and professional. I can’t speak highly enough of the treatment I received prior, during, and after my surgery. From the reception to the cosmetic coordinator (Audrey), to the PA (Amber), to Dr. Ayoub it was a very good experience. And did I mentioned I drove 45 minutes to get the best care. Well worth it. Thank you Dr. Ayoub and staff!
Dr. Ayoub and his staff are amazing. I was extremely nervous for my procedure, Breast Reduction, and they made me feel at ease; from the consultation to the day of surgery. I highly recommend getting anything done here. They are very professional and never made me feel like I had a stupid question. After having a bad experience somewhere else this was a breath of fresh air. He fought for me to get insurance approval, which I needed. I am very happy with my results and will be forever grateful for the new me! Thank you Westfield Plastic Surgery!
Dr Ayoub and his staff at Westfield are amazing! I'm 9 days post op from a breast augmentation and couldn't be happier! Everything was fantastic, from my first consult, to the surgery center, to my aftercare. Audrey and Amber were amazing to work with when it came to coordinating my care, sizers, etc. I called when questions arose and was always greeted in a welcoming manner on the phone. Never felt like I was bothering anyone. These guys are amazing. Highly recommend!
On February 5, 2021 I had a surgery performed by Dr. Ayoub. First of all, the office staff was very courteous and professional, they treated me well at all times. During my visit Dr. told me that a tummy tuck was my best option to get rid of the excess skin. He also suggested liposuction on my back. The whole procedure will cost more than I was expecting, since he is an independent surgeon the prices are different from other surgeons. After, reading a lot of good reviews and also I did my research about him before going to my first appointment, I decided to get my surgery with him. I am 13 days post op today 02/18/21. The first 4 days were the hardest for me. Thank God I haven't had any complications so far, except for a drain that got broke while I was empty it the fluid. I called the office and the next day they removed all three. That happened on the 02/12/21. I still can't stand straight because I feel a sharp pain in between my breast and my alba line. So far I am pleased with the outcome. I still very swollen on abdomen area specially on the top where the stomach begins. I will post pictures to be more graphic. There is a lot of improvement on my back too, but on my lower back I can feel and see a lump that doesn't go away and that is very concerning because it doesn't hurt and does not feel like it is swollen. Tomorrow 02/19/21 I have an appointment with Dr. Ayoub I will explain him my concerns about those to things. Also, I have noticed that my stomach still got bloated after eating I thought a tummy tuck will help with that because I always thought that my diastasis recti make looks worst. Well I will update again tomorrow about my concerns. Updated on 20 Feb 2021: I went to my two weeks post op. I explained the Dr my concerns about my lump on the back and the bulge on the top of my abdomen. He said that my lump was inflammation and will go away during the healing process. He explained that my bulge was fat ;( that was very disappointing to hear it. It doesn’t show much when I stand up ( still trying to stand up straight) but still it is disappointing to know that after spending so much money on such procedure, I possibly not going get the results I wanted. I will give time to my body to heal and see what happens, hopefully the bulge get better and I would not need anymore lipo. I don’t want to go through any other surgery or down time. Updated on 20 Feb 2021: I am uploading my pictures again. Updated on 9 Mar 2021: This is me at week 3 still pretty swollen. I am happy that I don’t have to carry the pregnant look anymore. My incision is red, itching and tender to the touch, but pretty much is healing very well. Updated on 13 Mar 2021: These are pictures taken in the morning without food in my stomach. After eating most of the time feel like my stomach will explote. I know there is big change from pre surgery d post surgery but still I don’t see a flat stomach. I know nothing is perfect ;( and I try not to be negative. I had have read a lot of reviews from others people experience some of them very nice others not. I just don’t want to feel that my investment it’s not worth it. I told myself everyday that I will give it time and not rush to conclusions. Here are some pictures from week 4 & 5.
I had lost 108lbs through diet and exercise over the course of 4 years. I was tired of looking in the mirror and not seeing my hard work. Having to tuck my stomach into my pants. Being uncomfortable running because my stomach skin would slip out of its high waisted compression leggings. I did my research on surgeons before meeting with Dr. Ayoub. Looked at reviews from numerous sites, accreditations, patient pictures, etc. I was immediately impressed with Dr. Ayoub and his entire office. He took time to answer my questions and asking ME questions as well. I could tell he was concerned most about my health and support system. He gave me a realistic idea of what my outcome would be. I scheduled my surgery 3 months before I had it. During that time, I had so many questions that his staff patiently and kindly answered. The surgery went so well! Dr. Ayoub is truly an artist. I went back for several check-ups within the first couple of months to ensure everything was healing well. My overall recovery was difficult. The pain was really tough the first week. I needed round the clock care the first week as I couldn't stand up, sit down or bathe on my own. (None of this was due to Dr. Ayoub. Everyone has a different experience with the surgery and deals with pain differently.) My scars have not faded much. Part of that is due to genetics. I found out that I have a tendency toward hypertrophic scarring. The other reason may be because I tried to do too much too early. I was impatient to get back to a normal life that I may have lifted items that were heavier than I should have and put tension on the incisions. Despite the recovery and the less than ideal scars... I would 100% do this surgery again. Having the support of an amazingly gifted and empathetic surgeon like Dr. Ayoub and his fantastic team made my experience that much better. (One last thought, I love the line of my scar. THAT takes some crazy good skill!)
After meeting with several doctors, I had ruled out getting a mommy makeover due to nerves and just not having a good feeling after the consultations. I kept my appointment with Dr. Ayoub even though, in my head, I wasn't going to go through with the procedure. I'm so happy I kept the appointment!!!! Dr. Ayoub and his entire team were extremely professional. I walked out of my consultation comfortable and confident in deciding to go forward with the surgery. Amber and Audrey were very communicative through the entire process and talked me down from a few ledges as my anxiety levels were very high. Dr. Ayoub listened to my concerns and wasn't pushy about additional procedures. I had a great understanding of what to expect going into and coming out of the operation. I'm six weeks post op and very pleased with the results. He is an artist. This was the self confidence boost I've needed since having children. I am looking forward to becoming a long time patient for other medical spa services that are offered through Westfield Surgery Center.
Dr Ayoub was fabulous! Personable, trustworthy, listened to my concerns and addressed accordingly. I had gone to two other surgeons before I decided on Dr Ayoub. What made the difference for me was I felt like he listened to me and worked with me to get the results I wanted. I was extremely apprehensive in the beginning as elective surgery is just that...elective. But his staff Aubrey especially made me comfortable and I was delighted with the results and the entire process. Will post photos at my 6 months because they keep getting better and better.
I was eager to get my stomach done after having children. I was nervous to get this done, but Dr. Nagi made me feel extremely comfortable. He answered all my questions and concerns. I loved my results.
Hello! Great question! It is hard to determine what the green discharge is if every test you have done is normal. I would definitely find a board certified plastic surgeon for your procedure and inform him/her on your condition. They will be able to take extra precautions in regards to your surgery and covering your nipples during the procedure. You should also get post-op antibiotics. The greatest concern would be a post-op infection. Just allow proper communication and find some who is qualified and BOARD CERTIFIED! Best of Luck!
Hello! Bruising and swelling is normal in the post-op period. If the bruise is 1" diameter with mild tenderness that would usually just be considered a bruise. A hematoma would be very tender and make the breast significantly larger when comparing to the opposite side. I would trust your provider, especially if they are a board certified plastic surgeon. Upload photos if you can so we can check those out. Best of luck and congrats.
Hello! I think that you would be a perfect candidate for a breast augmentation. I recommend going to a board certified plastic surgeon. Try a couple consults to see a few providers. Thank you for including photos but choosing size and shape is best with physical examinations. You are thin and have a thin "pinch" test but that does not diaqualify you from surgery! Best of luck on your future surgery! :)
Hello! Usually this would be determined by your board certified plastic surgeon. Due to protecting the sterility and safety of the patient and use of implants (foreign body), we usually would not perform the mole excision at the time same time. Excisions under local anesthetic are quite simple, safe and painless in the office. I recommend checking with your plastic surgeon if they are comfortable with the combined procedures. Good luck!
Hello! At my clinic, I like my patients to be 6 weeks smoke free, but most surgeons would want you to stop smoking 2-4 weeks before AND after surgery. Anything with nicotine (gums, vape, cigars, etc.) will inhibit wound healing, which includes second hand smoking. As far as drinking as long as you stop a few days before surgery you should be fine. Alcohol will affect your bleeding during and post-operatively. So also refrain from drinking post-operatively especially if you are taking pain medications.
