I had otoplasty 8 months ago on both the ears. This is how my ears looks right now. Do these scars and redness appear to be normal? When will they be completely healed? I am afraid of getting keloid scars and want to be very careful and prevent it. I don’t get any itch behind my ears as of yet.

Answer: Vbeam laser treatment can defuse the redness
It is possible to reduce the prominence of the tragus and reshape your earlobe to make it appear more “attached”. This can be done with surgery. Please seek the expertise of a board certified plastic surgeon with experience in cosmetic ear surgery.
Yes, this can be done, but from the photos we can see your ears do look fine. Moving the ears out would require a cartilage graft to be placed behind the ears such that the ears are lateralized to your liking.
Exparel will give you three days of pain relief. It costs about $300. Up to you whether you think that's worth it. Pain from otoplasty not terrible but your ears will be sore
