breasts point too outward, told that implants or fat transfer could only make it even worse… is there any way to bring them more forward facing? (let alone/besides even trying to make them any bigger) thanks
Answer: Is there a way to bring nipples closer together/more forward if breasts point too outwards towards armpits? Hi, When it comes to correcting divergent nipples, especially in the context of breast augmentation or mastopexy, there are a few factors to consider. If you're undergoing a breast lift (mastopexy) or reduction, the surgeon can reposition the nipples closer together during the procedure. However, if you're only having implants, the options are more limited. Adjusting the implant pocket slightly outwards can sometimes shift the nipples inwards a few millimeters, but this technique is unpredictable and unreliable. Dissecting or enlarging the pockets too much is not advisable. Therefore, for patients with significant nipple divergence, a separate nipple repositioning surgery might be the most reliable option, performed some months after the initial breast augmentation. My comments and recommendations are solely based on your text and are subject to change. I always recommend a face-to-face consultation with a specialist to plan the treatment. Best wishes, Dr. Surmeli.

Answer: Breast shape Dear jasmineH, many women seek improved cleavage. Narrowing the cleavage plane can be done very carefully by a skilled surgeon. Moving the implants too far medially can result in synmastia or unaboob which is very difficult to correct. That being said, the right amount of pocket dissection and implant selection can create excellent cleavage. If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Only after a thorough examination, you will get more information and recommendations. Answer: Nipple position varies. Ideal measurements for symmetric breasts would be for the distance from the suprasternal notch (the depression at the bottom of your neck) to each nipple to be the same and that distance to also the same as the distance from nipple to nipple. However, some patients have nipples that sit further out to the side so that the nipple to nipple distance is far greater than the super sternal notch to nipple distance. These people feel that their nipples sit out to the side and it is true that augmenting patients with these measurements does not improve the nipple position and can make it worse. I am not aware of any reliable procedure that can alter this.

Answer: Can the nipples be brought closer together? Yes, the nipples can be brought closer to the center of the breast mound to a degree. This will require incisions and/or potentially a breast lift. Implants add volume to the look that you already have. Visit with a board certified plastic surgeon near you to learn more.

Answer: Nipples The nipple-areola area is supposed to be in the center of the breast. If the nipple is pointing outward, which is quite normal, and moved inward, it may look odd since it may not be at the center of the breast fullness. I would suggest submitting photos so I can be more specific.
