I have heard of the vampire breaks lift but I have not seen enough studies to support this. I was wondering what you docs think? Is it safe? Is a realistic result? And what Dr specializes it

Answer: Vampire breast lift? You haven't heard about any studies supporting it because there aren't any. In theory injecting stem cells into the skin of the breast can tighten it and lift the breast a little bit and would be safe. However, injecting stem cells into the breast gland, in theory, could activate breast cancer cells if there was any potential for them to become cancerous. I would personally recommend sticking with well proven surgical techniques if you want your breasts lifted. Hope that helps!

Answer: Breast Lift The term "Vampire" is used to describe many techniques which use factors from your own blood such as stem cells or platelets. The idea is that this will stimulate your body to produce more collagen as well as restore youthful characteristics to your tissues. There are no long-term or high-level studies which evaluate the effectiveness of these treatments. It is best to have an in-office examination to evaluate your breast anatomy and tissue characterstics to determine what surgical and non-surgical options are available to provide the results which you are looking for. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MD Plastic Surgery
