Hi I'm scheduling a lollipop lift for September with an augmentation scheduled 6 weeks after. I'm not even sure if I want to have children but this is still a question on my mind.
Answer: Pregnancy can ruin results Breast feeding won’t negatively impact your results, however the whole experience of pregnancy most likely will. Many women find that their breasts change in shape and/or size after having children. The breasts may become larger or smaller, and saggier. For this reason, I typically recommend women get a breast lift when they’re no longer planning to have children. However, if you don’t know if you’re planning to have kids and understand the effects pregnancy will have on your results, then you can consider having the surgery now.

Answer: Lift Great question! I think that if you are planing on having child in the next year, then wait. However, if you don't think that this will happen anytime soon, then go ahead. I already recommend a one-stage surgery, with an implant. The implant selection should be based on a combination of your desired size, soft tissue dynamics, breast base diameter and skin elasticity. I recommend an in-office examination as well as a detailed discussion with a surgeon who you are comfortable with. Finally, make sure your surgeon is a Double-Board Certified Plastic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS) and the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS).Best,Dr. DesaiBeverly Hills Institute for Aesthetic Plastic SurgeryHarvard Educated, Beverly Hills & Miami Beach TrainedDouble Board-Certified Beverly Hills Plastic Surgeon

Answer: Breast lift results Studies have shown that we cannot predict the effect of breast feeding / child breeding on breasts with accuracy. Some women get larger, some get smaller, some droop, some don't. Best bet is to look around in your family and see if there are any patterns.

Answer: Breast lift before children? I usually recommend to wait if pregnancy is planned soon as this may change your breasts. This should be discussed with your plastic surgeon preop.

Answer: The Bellesoma Method Thank you for you question, The Bellesoma Method is a current technique to lift and/or reduce breasts without using implants or the ugly vertical scars. The incisions are hidden around the areola and in the inframammary crease. The vertical incision has been completely eliminated. The areola incision heals almost invisibly due to the fact that there is hardly any tension on the closure. With this particular technique, ducts are preserved along with nerve supply maintaining nipple sensation and the ability to breast feed. Because the breast is reshaped internally and is secured to your chest muscles, upper pole fullness is possible without an implant. Attached is a patient who underwent The Bellesoma Method. Please note that her tissue was used to create upper pole fullness and cleavage without any foreign materials (mesh, implants, etc). It is a proprietary technique that only surgeons that have been trained by me can perform. I hope this helps. Best wishes and kind regards, Dr. Gary Horndeski
