Should I do rhinoplasty or brow lift first? How long do I have to wait in between?

Great question!  I would go with the one that bothers you the most or have the most issues with.  I would wait about 6 months between the surgeries as well to allow all the swelling to subside.

Thank you for your question.  As an experienced plastic surgeon, I would like to give use some advice.  There are some many qualified plastic surgeons who can do both a rhinoplasty and a brow lift at the same time.  Do not waste your time trying to pick one surgeon to do an endoscopic brow lift and another surgeon to do your rhinoplasty. I would pick the surgeon who is most skilled at rhinoplasty as this is the highest level art form whereas brow lifting is much more straightforward procedure.  Best wishes to you.

Assuming the two surgeons don’t care about the order, I recommend doing first the one you want most.  Who knows after the first procedure you may have to hold off on the other so do the one first that’s more important to you.  The surgeons should also make the decision on waiting time but I say about two weeks.

In the right hands- these procedures can be performed at the same time by an experienced Board Certified PS, provided you are a candidate. If you insist on going to two different Surgeons then I would recommend the Rhinoplasty first. Keep in mind that the Rhinoplasty may produce changes that could possibly change your mind about the brow lift.

 It really does not matter which procedure comes first,  since it is a personal choice.  Just remember that you will  have 2 weeks of visible bruising and swelling for each procedure,  so it will be a a total of 4 weeks recovering from elective cosmetic surgery performing them separately.  It might be best to try to find a surgeon that can do both procedures simultaneously, and still give you an excellent result.  For more information  and many examples of both procedures, please see video below

If you cannot do both together, then I would pick the one procedure for the area which bothers you the most. Generally speaking, I prefer patients to wait 6 months to do surgery in the same region of the body to allow swelling and inflammation to subside. Hope this helps!

I would work from high to low so do the browlift first followed by the rhinoplasty. Otherwise, I would try to do both cases at the same time.
