Thank you for your question. At this time post op, it is too early to talk about final results. It could be swollen, To reduce it, I recommend you perform daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the the concern areas and wear a postoperative girdle. I dont see this getting much better,  you likely need more of a hi definition procedure which is likely more expensive but meticulous and will get you the results you were looking for. Best, Dr. Emer.

It is too early to assess your outcome. I know it's frustrating to not have your ideal results immediately, but it can take anywhere from 4-6 months for the swelling to go down post liposuction. You will see improvement in your areas of concern over the next several months, but, from what I can see, you will not have dramatic improvement.  I would have your surgeon assess all treated areas at 3  months post-operatively and then determine if more needs to be done to obtain the result that you wanted to achieve.

 If you things come to mind. When  liposuction is done correctly and someone who is a good candidate than immediate improvements should be seen followed by continued improvements over the next 3 to 6 months. even though your results are far from final I would anticipate most patients would show more improvement at this point during your recovery. The back bro role is often much more of a skin issue then one of subcutaneous fat. There's a skin attachment at the base of the rib cage between the skin and muscles on the back.  This area often has limited improvements after liposuction.Often the crease  will remain.  I often demonstrate this during a consultation by asking my patients to hold one arm straight up over their head and look in the mirror to see how the skin on the back since out in the back bro roll disappears.  when the arm is brought down the skin drops only to the level where The skin attachment is.As it does so the crease  is formed.Improvements can often be seen in this area but generally the potential for great improvements is much lower than in the flank area where the predominant issue is almost always excess fat and not loose skin.  at this point you need to wait 3 to 6 months to see your final results.You should definitely follow up with your plastic surgeon to talk about your before and after results.I revision may be needed to get the best possible outcome. Most plastic surgeons will tell you that it's too early to make an assessment. While that's true I would expect to have seen a better result at this point.You look like you were a great candidate for the procedure Best,Mats Hagstrom M.D.

You are right to be concerned.  However, even though these look more like pre-op than post-op photos, it is several months to early to judge the final result.  If, after 6 months, they still have not improved, then a touch-up lipo can be done to improve it further.  Keep in touch with your surgeon.

You should notice a difference right away after your procedure.  After a week you should see a difference.  Yes, it does take 6 weeks to 3 months for a lot of the skin edema (swelling, lumps and bumps) to resolve but you should see a difference.  In your photos I do not see a significant difference.   I do mostly hi volume liposuction, hi-def and revisions.  The BBR is a challenging area but with expertise and certain techniques you should see a difference.  Do not worry,  let it heal-at least six months-reassess as additional suctioning can be done.
