I had a lip lift done in November 2025. Still healing. The results are better than expected. No real discomfort only swollen and bruised for a few weeks after surgery. It will take time to heal fully but the results will be as expected. Mr Mattine has done a good job and was very patient and understanding wanting to give me the results i was asking for.

Mr Mattine done my Deep plane neck and face lift at Zenith Clinic in Nottingham, first weeks after the operation were uncomfortable, especially the compression bandage. Everything is now starting to settle down. Jawline is much more defined and face/neck fresh and youthful.

It is now 3 months since I underwent facial fat grafting under IV sedation and I am delighted with the results. I have had previous surgical treatments with Mr Mattine ( facelift/neck lift/chin implant then temporal brow lift with upper and lower blepharoplasty) This day case procedure has given very good results, as advised for fat grafting it has taken time to settle from the initial treatment. It has provided a subtle but visible improvement to my skin , facial contours and management of some fine lines. I did not want to have dermal fillers and this has been an excellent option with a natural enhancement which was my request at consultation. I have consulted with Mr Mattine at his Birmingham clinic but travelled from the West Midlands to his Nottingham clinic for the day case surgery. I have every confidence in Mr Mattine having had several surgical procedures as above. He is a highly skilled, knowledgeable surgeon , professional and approachable making every consultation relaxed. His surgical skills have significantly enhanced my appearance and this in turn has had a very positive effect on my day to day life.

I had a deep plane face and neck lift together with an upper eye blepharoplasty and temporal browlift performed by Samuel Mattine on 6th January 2026, just less than four weeks ago at the time of writing. I couldn't be happier with the results. From the moment I came round from the anaesthetic to today, I haven't needed a single painkiller. I had a consultation with Mr Mattine to discuss lower eyelid surgery. Mr Mattine spent a great deal of time explaining the procedure, managing my expectations, and clearly outlining what could and could not be achieved, as well as how the process would work. He answered all of my questions thoroughly and in a way that was easy to understand. I felt comfortable and confident about proceeding with surgery under his care. I have had previous consultations with Mr Mattine and have always left feeling reassured that he is highly knowledgeable and experienced in what he does.

So it’s been 3 years since I had a chin reduction surgery with Mr Mattine. As you can see from the before and after photos, the chin now looks more feminine. It has been shaped to give a slimmer front on appearance and from the side profile it has been reduced in depth. The skin under the chin was also treated- to smooth it out when smiling. The recovery was fairly easy. The procedure was done through the mouth. There are no scars in the mouth and it has healed well. Overall I am very happy with the results and with Mr Mattine and his team!

I have for a veeeery long time wanted to lower my hairline/make my forehead smaller to fit my face. I found Dr.Mattine on RealSelf and went to his website to send an email asking for a digital consultation. I had my first digital consultation with Dr. Mattine in August, and I told him about my concerns and why I want a tissue expander before the hairline lowering procedure. I did my research and I really want a reduction of 4cm or more with the help of a tissue expander. Dr. Mattine is very kind and he really listened to me about my concerns during the consultation, and then I met him in person the day before my first surgery (tissue expander). Meeting him face to face made me feel even more reassured and confident about the surgical plan

Great experience with Mr Mattine from the start. I was initially worried he would not take me seriously due to my younger age (the joys of early peri-menopause!), however, Mr Mattine took the time to listen, understand and reassure me throughout the process. Everything felt smooth from start to finish—he was responsive, professional and I never once felt dismissed. Now, a couple of years later, I’m still very happy with my results, although I have continued to note more accelerated ageing in the last few months (finally got on the HRT very recently and hoping things will slow down a bit more from that front), I appreciate I would probably look a lot worse if it were not for this procedure.
