I have for a veeeery long time wanted to lower my hairline/make my forehead smaller to fit my face. I found Dr.Mattine on RealSelf and went to his website to send an email asking for a digital consultation. I had my first digital consultation with Dr. Mattine in August, and I told him about my concerns and why I want a tissue expander before the hairline lowering procedure. I did my research and I really want a reduction of 4cm or more with the help of a tissue expander. Dr. Mattine is very kind and he really listened to me about my concerns during the consultation, and then I met him in person the day before my first surgery (tissue expander). Meeting him face to face made me feel even more reassured and confident about the surgical plan

Great experience with Mr Mattine from the start. I was initially worried he would not take me seriously due to my younger age (the joys of early peri-menopause!), however, Mr Mattine took the time to listen, understand and reassure me throughout the process. Everything felt smooth from start to finish—he was responsive, professional and I never once felt dismissed. Now, a couple of years later, I’m still very happy with my results, although I have continued to note more accelerated ageing in the last few months (finally got on the HRT very recently and hoping things will slow down a bit more from that front), I appreciate I would probably look a lot worse if it were not for this procedure.

I underwent genioplasty surgery with Mr Samuel Mattine, and I could not be more pleased with the outcome. For years, I felt self-conscious about my chin and it affected me on a daily basis. I have quite a round face and Mr Mattine suggested a buccal fat reduction would help with this. After research I decided to take this route combined with Masseter botox. 5ml of fat was removed from the fat pads through incisions in the mouth. Completely painless recovery. My face has definitely narrowed although the results are not even yet final! I also had a necklift and facelift with him 3 years ago which are also perfect. The buccal fat surgery was performed at the same time as upper and lower bleph sugery which i am also very pleased with. Would highly recommend Mr Mattine is an amazing surgeon would choose no other

I am 3 weeks out of upper and low bleph surgery with Mr Mattine. This was a revision surgery performed by another surgeon which often makes things slightly more challenging... but not for Mr Mattine! I won't dispute, this is uncomfortable surgery the tissues around the eyes are delicate but nothing that a few paracetamol can't resolve. I still have slight swelling but the bruises are gone and scars are almost invisible, even at this early stage, which is down to Mr Mattine's amazing skill. I have had very frequent calls from him to check that I am progressing well. I had other surgery with Mr Mattine 3 years back and would choose no other. He is amazingly skilled, articulate, very professional but at the same time kind and very personable. Thank you for another job very well done!

Really really great surgeon. I’ve been to see Mr Mattine a couple of times in regard to a rhinoplasty consultation and he’s so lovely & well informed. Answered all of my (million) questions and was very reassuring. Dr. Samuel Mattine is truly the greatest surgeon you could possibly ask for. He has amazing attention to detail and will provide you with the exact results you’re looking for. I did my rhinoplasty with him and he cared deeply about what results I wanted pre-surgery and what my concerns were at my consultation with him, and also again right before going into the operation room. He made sure I was doing okay during the healing process post rhinoplasty and followed up often. After seeing his work on his website and his instagram page I knew I definitely wanted to do my rhinoplasty with him which is why I flew all the way from Canada to see him. I’ve never felt more confident, 100% recommend Dr. Mattine!

I am very pleased with the result of my Deep Plane face and Neck lift surgery, carried out about 2 years ago. I had a very thorough consultation where all the risks and expected outcomes were clearly explained to me. The surgery was carried out as a day case, and I was discharged home the same day. The initial recovery was as I was informed. The result, however, is precisely what I was hoping for. I am very pleased with the outcome. There is hardly any scarring, and I feel rejuvenated and younger by the years.
