I need a FUE transplant with about 4000 grafts. Is my donor good enough? (Photo)

Hallo, im 30 years old and i have hairloss since 10 years. I am using propecia since 8 years and was able to stop hairloss now. I want to get a hair transplant and was suggested to do a 4000 FUE Grafts transplant. Would this be enough to cover my hairloss? What do you think about my donor region? Thank you for your help

You cannot tell the density of your donor hair with photos.  Hair transplant surgery is not only about the "number of grafts" you "need".  It isn't clear why you "need" 4000 grafts and what you are trying to accomplish based on photos alone.

Thanks for submitting your photos. Based on them your donor side looks eligible for a FUE hair transplantation and it seems that up to 4000 grafts can be taken out and your donor side will allow it. If it is needed is another question. Therefore you should consult with multiple surgeons and this will show you the right direction.

Your thinning pattern appears to be more diffuse than localized and therefore more difficult to treat.Also at age 30 we have to be concerned about future expansion of your pattern particularly in the crown.Therefore we want to be very careful about managing your donor area-4000 grafts may result in over harvesting information your case.I would recommend a consultation with an experienced Hair Restoration surgeon to determine an appropriate treatment plan for you.

There's no way to tell you for sure whether or not your donor area could support donating 4000 grafts. It does look like you have a fairly normal donor area though, which generally would mean you could probably give over 5000 if necessary. However, you should have an in person consultation (or several) to know for sure.

I would indeed say that your donor region can support a 4,000 graft FUE procedure. A 4,000 graft FUE procedure would give you excellent density in your thinning areas.

Can i ask who suggested you need 4000 grafts. In my view 2200-2300 grafts will be more than enough, in fact even 2000 grafts will be enough, Maybe you are talking of 4000 follicles, which is about 2000 grafts. 
You have a pretty good donor area for that many grafts by any of the 2 basic techniques
