First of all I want to say a thanks to everyone who responds to Q's! I am looking at taking fin. I'm 23 years old and want to have a family eventually. I'm scared that even when I stop the drug the horror story sides of becoming sterile will be present. (I won't know until that time comes)!!!? I'm wondering if the sides go once you stop and what are the real concerns from a doctors view point. (My dads a surgeon but not hair and said it would be ok)

Answer: Propecia Side Effects Propecia rarely gives victims side effects in the first place, and if you happen to be one of the few who experience issues with taking it, they clear up within a few weeks of stopping it. The chance that these issues persist are virtually zero- it is incredibly rare to come across someone with permanent effects from it.

Answer: Propecia - do side effects Propecia side effects may not go away after you stop taking pills. You may have Post-finasteride syndrome, occurs in men who’ve taken finasteride to treat hair loss by a chance of %4-5. That may causes some symptoms include: loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, depression, suicidal ideation, anxiety, panic attacks, Peyronie’s disease, penile shrinkage, gynecomastia, muscle atrophy, cognitive impairment, insomnia, severely dry skin and tinnitus. The condition often has a life-altering impact on victims and their families, such as job loss and the breakup of marriages and romantic relationships..so I dont recommend you to use it.
