Thanks for the question. It’s too early to comment over the result. First couple of weeks after the surgery you can back to work and couple of weeks later your permanent recovery will start. It’s possible to see some major changes in Liposuction results till the end of 12 months recovery. I wish you all the best.
Hello monica400, I appreciate your questions! Every patient is unique and will have different recovery deadlines after VASER Liposuction. Maximum results would take up to 6 months to show. The swelling and bruising during the first 3-7 days are significant, and most patients will have difficulties moving around, in general. You will see significant improvement in the way your body feels and looks in the following 2 weeks. Be patient during those 2 weeks and you will then begin to see the final results of your VASER Liposuction procedure. Good luck and may God bless you! Dr. De La Cruz.
I see you had your procedure done mid-September. Congratulations! Sometimes patients expect to see immediate results after having fat removed via liposuction. Although some improvement may be visible a few weeks after surgery, patience is important. Swelling can persist for weeks or even months following surgery, and most doctors have patients wear compression garments during this time to reduce it. Final results may take 6 months to a year. Be sure to call your surgeon if anything seems off, and remain patient during this time. Wishing you well during your recovery!
Swelling and healing as well as scar maturation can persist for 6 months and sometimes up to 1 year following liposuction. I would follow with your doctor at this point. Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA
The first few weeks the swelling and bruising subside, but it only after six months that one can see the real result. The patient also must lose an amount of weight equal to the amount removed to get the result expected. The patient is the doctors best friend in achieving success.
Thank you for your question. As areas of liposuction evolve, it may take up to 6 months after surgery before you realize your final results. It is important to be patient after liposuction or any cosmetic procedure. I do not recommend revisions or "touch ups" until it has been 12 months after your initial surgery.
Most of the time you will see the difference within a week or two.The final result takes three to four months or more.Sometimes you will not see much difference on 1st or 2nd post-op days because of the retention of fluid or extra fluid infusion. After one week or so you start seeing the difference.Be patient.
Buyer beware! Liposuction comes in many different forms and the amount of liposuction done also varies from patient to patient. My Coolsculpting patients can, in fact, come in during their lunch hour for fat removal. However, they are well educated on the results that they can...
What you have on the back of your skull and neck are skin rolls which contain some fat. But I would have no confidence that liposuction is going to make them go away...or even become less pronounced. This is a scalp skin excess problem not really a 'fat' problem per se. While the rolls could be...
The skin on the inner thigh is quite thin and can become reactive to liposuction with a bruise like blush to the skin. Sun exposure during this time can result in pigmentation or bronzing which can last a very long time, so keep the area covered. A second round of liposuction, especially close...
