it. Have had deep lines between my eyes for years now so I decided to try Boxtox. It took 10 years away almost overnight. I can see a major difference and I love it. Know one knows what change I did they just know that I look less stressed and youthful looking.
Since my father passed away with melanoma, I was so nervous about having a melanoma mole removed and then needing an excisional biopsy. However, the office of Dr. Wesley Myers made me so comfortable. As soon as you enter the office, you sense peace and tranquility. Jessica is so nice and professional as is Nurse Carol. Dr. Myers has miracle hands. So many people have commented how my incisions were "beautifully done".
I highly recommend Dr. Myers, he's very professional yet kind, funny and personable. He and his staff do a great job of making you feel comfortable. He gets you right in at your appointment time. He takes the time to talk to you and makes sure any questions are answered. He did a great job on my procedure as well. Very pleased that I went to him.
Motivation ...... I was working in a field with much younger colleagues, and I needed "to look" the part. The surgery did just that. My surgery was done at an out-patient surgery center. There was minimal pain after surgery. Although I was given a prescription for pain, I only took it the night after the surgery. I was off work for one week after surgery. To sum up, it was a positive experience, and I'm glad I had it done.
Tired of the back pain. No exercise , weight loss could change the 38 DDD size on this 5'1, 120 lb frame. So the option of breast reduction seemed liked the next step. Did some research on the procedure and on physicians in my area on my insurance plan. I also researched my insurance for coverage on the procedure . Made my appointment to consult with Dr Myers and my journey started. I am happy to say the consult went excellent and felt very comfortable with Dr Myers, he was very patient and answered all my questions and concerns. My insurance approved the procedure the first go around. I am one week post op and feeling great . I am so glad I made this choice. The back pain is gone. The only down side I have found is the sleeping on the back for a period of time till the swelling goes down LOL as am a side sleeper, but if this is the only down side, then it is worth the price. I am in the medical field as well, so a big suggestion I have for anyone is do your research !!!! on the procedure, the doctor and on your coverage from your insurance if you are going to use it. Education is very important. Know all the pros and cons so you know what you are getting into! This is the best thing I could of done for me. I can hardly wait to get back to the gym and start running I know this is procedure is going to make everything so much better!!! Updated on 26 Apr 2014:
I'm not having a breast reduction according to my husband. I'm just having his toys restored! Lol I'm 30 years old, 5'2" and 190 lbs. I wear a 36 J. I'm married with 3 children. I was huge when I was 12, a 34 DD. I'm just ready to be small. I want clothes that fit. And you know what, I want to buy a bra that cost $5. I'm sick of not being able to be as active with my kids as I want to be I want to be more comfortable in my own skin. Oh! My reduction is 11/22/11 Updated on 20 Nov 2011: I woke up this morning and my rash is almost healed!!!! All my washing and blow dying my boobs helped!!! Woo Ooo!!! Just a heat rash instead of yeast. Wow. I am just in high spirits now! Still nervous, but so much more excited.
I am 5'2 and 145pds. 33yrs old. Estimated breast size 34f. Even though my breast are quite large, I do love them, but they are causing me pain. Lower and upper back pain (arthritis), muscle spasms of the neck and pinched nerves. Still in physical therapy and on and off of meds. Flexiril, Predisone and anthrotec, nothings working anymore. My current insurance is Tricare and I'm in the Military, which requires lots of physical activity and exercise, so if I want to save my career. I have to do it. It only took my insurance 5 days to approve it. My PS only has 3 years of experience, but I did feel comfortable and at ease. I am afraid to shop around because I may change my mind, so I'm ready to get it over with. Haven't schedule an appointment yet. Just want to ensure that the back pain will disappear. So nervous!!!
Thank you for your question. Consultations should be done in person. A thorough exam is required as well as a lengthy conversation regarding your goals as well as your convalescence. I recommend that you make an appointment with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your surgical options.
Thank you for your question. Without a thorough examination it is difficult to give you specific advice on your situation, but I can give you some comfort. Be patient. It takes several months for the edema in the nose to resolve after surgery. Continue to follow-up with your surgeon and follow their post-operative regimen for your convalescence. Your situation will most likely improve.
