Any solution for tuberous breasts and/ or herniated areoles? (photos)

You do have a mild case of tuberous breasts since you have herniated areolas. This can be corrected with some suturing techniques combined with an implant using an incision around the areola. Good luck with your procedure!

Excellent question!  Tubular shaped breasts are a spectrum of breast shapes and not a single breast shape. Your tubular shaped breast are not the worst of tubular shaped breast.  Honestly the areolar area correction is difficult and besides a small implant to help make the size of the nipple appear more proportioned to the breast mound some strategic skin resection and internal relaxation of the breast mound underneath the nipple is required.  The breast mound generally is constricted and puts pressure on the nipple areolar complex causing it to protrude and stretch out. Improvement is what you will get not perfection.

I generally put in the implants via the areola in these cases, and then I sew around the areola and cinch it in.  They are tough cases but can also be very rewarding!

Hi.. thank you for the question and photos... You have puffy areola and some constriction... but you do not have a complete tuberous breast.. i recommend a Breast augmentation with HP implants under the muscle, a work the base of your breast for better results...  

It does appear that you have tuberous breasts. This can be corrected with surgery by releasing the constricted tissue and reducing the size of your areolae. Your breasts will then take on a more contoured shape. If you are not concerned about the size of your breasts, then implants are not necessary. however please note that the size of your breasts may be slightly reduced.

Hello lali97.  Features of the tuberous breast include:1) Puffy or herniated areola.2) Widely spaced breasts.3) High breast fold.4) Constricted lower pole or deficient tissue in lower part of the breast.5) Minimal breast tissue.6) Narrow base or small "footprint" of the breast.You have several of these features. It does look like you have tuberous breasts. Based on the photos, you're a good candidate for a breast augmentation, radial scoring of the gland, and areola reduction. Seek the advice of a surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery for your best options. You do not appear to have tuberous breast deformity, only herniation of the breast tissue into your areola. This is a normal development and usually subsides over time. Your breast are a little small and just placing an implant can resolve the problem.

I’d consider to be moderate tuberosity of the breast with fairly significant
herniation of your areolae. I would recommend breast augmentation in
combination with a corrective operative technique to ‘release’ the lower pole
of the breast. I would advise you to see a highly experienced plastic surgeon
as your case is more complex than a standard breast augmentation procedure.Good luck,Craig
