Strange question: Using Brava Bra on tuberous breasts at home, need expert opinion? (photos)

The tubular breasts are the result of internal
scar tissue that contracts and distorts the breast and tissue around the base
of the breast, creating the tubular shape. The BRAVA device alone cannot soften
the constricted tissue and cannot correct a deformity. When the BRAVA device is
used in conjunction with fat grafting and other techniques, the deformity is
corrected without any incisions, sutures or scarring. The BRAVA device expands
the breasts and loosens the constricted tissue to accept the fat grafts. The
tight scar tissue is then broken up and loosened using the riggotomy technique.
Our method of PALF is used to overcome skin shortages and the RAFT technique is
used to create a natural breast fold.

BRAVA is not going to give you the results that you are looking for.  In fact, you are correct it will accentuate the shape that you are trying to fix.  As discussed previously, your best option is breast augmentation. Nipple piercings are not going to help either. Your breast shape is something I see and treat every day of the week.  It is not as difficult as you have been told.  You need to find a surgeon with experience with this breast shape and let them treat you as they would any other patient with this anatomy.The
first thing you should do is check the ASPS website for a list of doctors in
your area. Then look at online reviews. Check the surgeon's
website. Look at their results. Ask around to see if you have any
personal references, these can be very helpful. Once you have screened
the doctor, meet with them. If they are professional and sincere, educated and
experienced, if they listen to your concerns and develop a plan which fits with
your goals, you have found a good match.

Using the BRAVA external expander alone will not change the shape or size of your breasts significantly. You are right, Dr. Khouri uses the BRAVA to expand the soft tissue, bring more vascularity into the breast tissue, so when it is fat grafted, the fat survival will be higher. Depends what your final goal is. Do you want to have fuller, rounder, naturally sagging breasts (go with the fat) or you prefer perkier, fuller breasts with the nipple/areolar complexes resized and lifted (go with a breast implant augmentation/vertical lift)? See a board certified plastic surgeon for an in person consultation/evaluation to discuss these options in detail. Good luck.

Thank you for submitting a photo.  You do have tuberous breasts.  If you want to have fuller breasts with an improved shape you will likely need a mastopexy and placement of breast implants.  Go to the ASPS website and find a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who can examine you and counsel you about your options.  

Hi, thank you for the question.... You do not have tuberous breast... You Have small breast with ptosis... I suggest you in case you are looking for a treatment, breast periareolar lift with implants this surgery will help you to feel confortable with your self. 

Thank you for your question. Based on the 1 photo provided it does not appear to me that your breasts have a significant constricted component to them. I believe you could get a nice result with a BA and some periareolar skin resection. I have seen some mild increase in breast size with the Brava device. The best I have seen is half a cup size increase. It is also helpful in preparation for some revision breast cases. I have not utilized it for the  tuberous breast, as there are very good surgical options. I hope this helps and good luck.

It is unlikely that you will get any satisfactory results with the Brava Bra.  You have a surgical problem that needs surgery to correct.

It is very unlikely that the Brava bra or piercings will help you reach your goal.Judging by your photos, you have grade 2 tuberous breasts with ptosis. No matter what non-surgical routines you try, you will likely need a vertical mastopexy for correction, whether or not you want a breast augmentation.When you are ready, find a plastic surgeon with extensive experience correcting tuberous breasts, but please don't waste your money on a non-surgical treatment.

If your surgeon is considering using Brava on you prior to fat grafting, then it is only to expand the tissue to allow more fat to be transfered and better survival of the fat.  Brava serves as a means to an end in order to have more fat transferred in one operation.  Hope this helps!

I think you are correct in thinking that brava bra alone will correct your tuberous breast. I think it would make the situation worse.
