The best treatment for jowls is a Facelift. A Facelift will reposition the structures of the face that creates jowling – such as the skin, the subcutaneous fat and the SMA – and put them back in the right position, to how it looked before these elements have become relaxed. A Deep Plane Facelift especially will proceed a long-term solution with natural looking results.
Hello, I would recommend a temporal face lift which has 3 cm incision in the hair and a thread lift at the same time for a strong and durable effect. It doesnt look like you have skin excess so I do not recommend a classical face lift approach, which makes scar. Regards
Thank you for your question and photos. It does not appear you have significant signs of aging at this time. While a mini facelift might be an option, you might also be a good candidate for non-surgical treatments like injectable dermal fillers or RF microneedling. Dermal fillers can restore volume and lift in the midface, which can in turn firm skin along the jawline. RF microneedling stimulates the body to produce more collagen, which creates firmer, smoother skin. I recommend scheduling an in-person consultation with an experienced, board-certified facial plastic surgeon or expert injector. They will be able to assess your concerns and determine the best treatment option to help you achieve your aesthetic goals.
Thank you for your question and sharing your photographs. In general, as you have alluded to, facelift surgery is the most recognised mechanism for treatment of the volume in the jowl areas. Alternatives include:- thread lift as a temporary intervention with minimal scars- minimal access facelift surgery which places the scars only in the sideburn hair- micro – liposuction to the jawline as a more limited contouring, also with essentially invisible scarsThe choice of treatment will depend on your facial configuration as well is the degree of improvement that you seek to achieve and the level of intervention and associated scars that you find acceptable.
Hello! First of all thank you for your question.I have tried to evaluate your case regarding the photo you provided but it is not enough. I can recommend a full facelift in your case (but I need better photos to evaluate properly).A midface lift would not correct it.
Jowls are a normal and often have a genetic component of most faces that in time drop and lead to poor neck and jaw-line contours. Facelift and fat transfer can improve jowling in most patients. An endoscopic midface lift can sometimes improve jowls, but mostly improves the cheek and lower eyelid areas. Other than facelift, you may consider facial injectables like Volux to improve and reshape the jawline and chin. PDO threads may help as well. In our practice we offer a minimally invasive option for jowl call face-tyte.
In our experience, best way to contol the size and shape of jowls is liposuctin with a small 2 mm. cannula. This is done in local anesthesia with minimal down time. In person consultation with a plastic surgeon familiar with this problem, is recommended. Good luck.
Hello !The goal is to get rid of shadows. The shadows can be lessened by pulling the skin, if indicated, above the fold which is casting the shadow through a facelift or you can inject a filler (or fat transfer, which is a living filler) below the fold; when done with Caisson Contouring the skin will firm and lift ( including your lips) and the jawline improved. Sometimes referred to as a liquid facelift, Caisson Contouring is a more advanced way of delivering the filler following engineering principles to give a more impressive yet more natural result and may be the best option for you.You should consult with a board certified specialist in this area.Best of luck !Randal Haworth Best of luck !Randal Haworth
Good to hear from you By the photos given by you it seems you have a small jowls. Since you are concerned about scars you may go ahead with threadless procedure for tackling the issue. Warm regards Drjosh
thanks for your question. What I think you see and what I see in the photo is a marionette line. This is the area of the face as it falls beyond the corner of the mouth creating heaviness. In your photos you look younger would say in your 20s, but of course I can't tell for sure. Ultimately mid facial aging is a progressive process. The answer to your question is not what can be done but when should I consider it. There are a range of surgical and nonsurgical options but overall in my opinion should keep it simple given your age. Hope that helps. Best wishes, Adam, Goodwin.
You may consider a Facelift in the far future but there are excellent non-surgical options available to address lax skin of the jawline and neck that offer rapid recovery, minimal downtime and no open visible large scars. A combination of procedures will afford you the optimal rejuvenation....
If a facelift does not improve the marionette lines, it is because either the marionette lines are too deep or the facelift was not extensive enough to address the marionette lines. In general, marionette lines can be hard to completely correct because they are far from the point of pull in...
Hello and thank you for your question. From what I can tell based on the picture you have provided, you have a round face shape, but do not really demonstrate any of the characteristic changes of facial aging. Based on that and your age, I would recommend that you definitely hold off on...
