It appears you are healing very nicely. In my practice we allow scar creams and gels after 3 weeks, but you need to check with your surgeon. BTW, I prefer silicone gel to bio oil.Good Luck!
Thank you for your question and series of photographs. Your incisions appear well-healed and it would be safe to start scar minimization techniques. Be sure to clear all products with your surgeon.
Hello dear, thanks for your post and provided information and photos as well. Fter 6 weeks post op you look to be healing pretty good. As every doctor is different is better to consult your PS about what to use. I recommend to my patients after 21 days post-op to use rosehip oil (rosa mosqueta oil), it will attenuate scars and improves the color of the same, reduces redness or hyperoigmentation. It also avoids the formation of the keloid type of scars (lump) wich may afyer surgical procedures. Good luck :)
Your scars are healing as well as any scar at this time. For the next several months you can benefit the scars by applying silicone, in any form, to the surface. It is available as rubber sheets, as gels or ointments, and also incorporated into the Telfa surface of some Bandaids. Continue until all pink tint of the scar has gone away.
Your wounds are healing nicely and without problems. You could start scar treatment, but you should check directly with your surgeon for advice that is specific to your case.
Six weeks after breast lift ,your breasts appeared to have healed well. You can start scar care .
Good Morning and thank you for your question. Although Bio-Oil or a silicone based scar gel are commonly used treatments for scars and you are 6 weeks out so you are likely fine to do so, it is always best to check in with your surgeon and follow their instructions. Best of Luck!Dr. K.
Thank you for your question and for sharing your photographs. It sounds as if your treatment plan with your surgeon is appropriate, and as you are recently out from surgery, ultimate treatment will depend on how your breasts heal and skin contracts after the explantation of your implants....
A mastopexy or breast lift operation is designed to improve the shape and position of the breast without reducing their size. It is used for breasts which sag or droop (ptosis). Sagging of the breasts may occur with normal development for some women, or as part of the aging process....
Your intra-operative bleeding/bruising must have been quite minimal, since yellow coloration is one of the final color stages of blood re-absorption (Purple-black, purple, dark salmon red, pink in varying stages, sometimes greenish hues, then yellow, and finally back to "normal" skin color)....
The Rubin Mastopexy, or "auto-augmentation breast lift," is a special technique that is used to reshape and lift the breast of weight loss patients. It is used because there is a very predictable array of changes to the breast in a patient that has lost significant weight, and this technique...
Thanks for your question. For a patient like you in my practice I would certainly recommend a lift with breast implants to give you the volume and upper breast fullness that you likely desire. If implants were not an option, I would then recommend a lift with fat grafting to the...
This is a fairly common problem and usually stops by about three months. It is probably and absorbable suture. It probably wouldn't hurt to pull on it with forceps, and if it doesn't easily come out, you should get in contact with your plastic surgeon who could easily remove it.
