I am almost certain what kind of operation I will need and what my expectations should be. I am well aware that cost should not be an Inflence on my choice but we all have a certain budget. I have researched plenty or surgeons in UK but am not sure if I can find a top surgeon in UK who charges @£4,000. I have seen many women who have travelled to Turkey who are very pleased with the resuults, obviously it will be much cheaper. My only concern is travelling back so soon after surgery .
Answer: Prices for Rhinoplasty/Nose Job surgery start at £3900 in Bristol I would advise against travelling abroad for your surgery. Whilst the price is always tempting, you still have to get there and pay for your accommodation. You also have to return for a review and also may have to return quickly if you have a complication. I would choose a reputable surgeon closer to home who can look after you start to finish.

Answer: Can't decide on a surgeon Many thanks for your interesting question. This is a dilemma that lots of people face in the UK. Unfortunately, the overheads plastic surgeons in the United Kingdom are extremely high and it means that surgery can be more expensive than it is in other countries. I understand the problem you are facing. On the one hand, we all know that, in life, you tend to get what you pay for. On the other hand, I have no doubt that there are many competent and caring surgeons in other countries. The difficulty comes in making the choice of surgeon when you are overseas and, more importantly, the surgeon is not speaking to you in his first language. When I am seeing patients, I am relying on visual and non-verbal clues to assess patients and understand what they're looking for, even if the patient struggles to articulate their concerns. This part of the process is at least as complicated and difficult as the surgery itself and, in my experience, most surgical "mistakes" are made before the patient ever enters the operating room. My advice to people when choosing a surgeon for any procedure is to go on instinct. If you find a surgeon who listens to you and appears to understand you as a person, then you stand a very good chance of getting the result they are looking for. I don't know if it's possible to do that when you travel overseas for a short visit and consultation. I realise that I'm not really helping you make a decision here but I hope that my point of view helps you understand the problem a little better. Best of luck

Answer: Can't decide on a surgeon for rhinoplasty? Having rhinoplasty is a big decision for most patients, and most patients consider whether to have surgery for some years before taking that step. Rhinoplasty is the most challenging cosmetic surgery and a good result is dependent on both technical excellence and artistry. A marker of technical skill is a cosmetic surgeon should specializes in facial plastic surgery and who performs cosmetic rhinoplasty on at daily/ weekly basis. Artistic ability of the surgeon to sculpt a nose in both proportion and harmony to a persons’ face and body-type can be evaluated with before and after photographs. To find the best rhinoplasty surgeon for you does require taking time and researching your surgeon. At the end of the day this is your face and you need to put some time into this, these are a few aspects to consider: Ask your surgeon about their specialist area of the body, how many of these specific treatments they carry out a week? Ask how many hours they spend a week carrying out your specific procedure. Remember, quantity isn’t everything it should be all about quality.Ask to look at ‘before’ and ‘after’ examples of the procedure you’re looking into.Request to be put in touch with past clients. Most surgeons are more than happy to direct potential new clients to past clients to help build confidence and trust. Look for a surgeon who specialises in cosmetic surgery compared to reconstructive surgery. Cosmetic surgery is an art form where millimeters will make the difference, reconstructive surgery places more importance on function and less on the aesthetic result.Always ask your surgeon what their revision rate is. Every surgeon will have a revision rate, this should be a relativity low number in comparison to the number of treatments which they carry out.Read reviews and see how recent the reviews are. Check online review sites, read magazines which cover aesthetic treatments and check to see if your surgeon has the right credentials for you. Revision surgery can required more complex surgical techniques, look for an expert who specialises in complex revision surgery.Good luck!

Answer: Rhinoplasty I agree with you it becomes tricky when you do surgery abroad and travel back Hine so soon especially with procedures like rhinoplasty that will need weeks to start seeing the details of your result. The answer to this is to do a more indepth search about a surgeon who you feel you can trust, make sure he understands what you need and you understand what he can do, and if possible use some sort or simulation of how it will look on your face postop. I receive many patients who come to Beirut from Australia, Europe, North America ...etc just to do their surgery. They stay for one week and then they travel back and we keep in touch through social media and email. When you follow this process then the chances for problems become lesser. The average cost for a Rhinoplasty in Beirut is about 3000 USD including hospital and anesthesia fees, blood tests and surgeon's fees.Best of luck, Shady Hayek

Answer: Surgery Outside of Your Country If you do decide to have surgery outside of your country, plan to stay close to your surgeon until you are released from care. Other surgeons do not like to take responsibility for another surgeon's patient in the event of complications. Also, be sure to plan post operative visits to your surgeon so he can monitor your progress. There are many negatives to traveling out of your country for surgery.
