Bridge too thin after rhinoplasty (Photo)

Question

It's been 1 month since my closed septorhinoplasty. I feel that my bridge has been narrowed too much. Will it fill out over time or should I be considering a revision rhinoplasty?

Hi KayKay888,
It is way too early to be considering revision. While your 'narrow bridge' may not change, the swelling in your tip may continue to go down (depening on whether is was 'open' or 'closed' rhinoplasty) and bring the whole nose into better balance. At that point, your bridge may seem much less narrow as the tip gets smaller.  I encourage you to keep in close touch with your rhinoplasty surgeon during the coming months. It happens when u narrow the nasal bones too much. It can b avoided by using spreader grafts. spreader grafts r usually difficult to put via closed technique. Let it settle for a few months. U may start to like it gradually, if not a revision may b the answer but u ned to wait for at least 6 months to an yr B4 making any decision regarding a revision.
