I am 22 and over the past 5 years I have gained weight (as shown in before and after pics). I don't really care about size I just don't like the shape of my breasts & I hate my areolas. I definitely want a breast lift but also want to correct asymmetry and add cleavage when I’m not wearing a bra, so should I get lift with implants/fat transfer or just a lift? Also, can I improve skin discolouration/thinness and montgomery glands removal with a breast lift?
Answer: 36/38DD breast lift with or without augmentation? Hello and thank you for your question and sharing your photos. You are an excellent candidate for a breast lift/reduction type of surgery. You have adequate breast tissue and don't need an implant. Breast lift removes the excess skin, re-arranges breast tissue, moves the nipples up and decreases the areolar size if needed. Asymmetry will also be corrected. My best advice is that you communicate your goals and aesthetic ideals with your surgeon as clearly as possible and trust your surgeon's skills and abilities to deliver what you are looking for. Best wishes and good luck, Pejman Aflaki, M.D. Johns Hopkins-trained double board-certified plastic surgeon

Answer: Breast lift If you just have a breast lift your breasts will still be ample size without the need for an implant. Your areolae would be reduced to about an inch and a half in diameter and be placed higher up where they belong. You also will not need fat transfer.

Answer: Breast lift Hello and thank you for your question. Based on your photographs, you are a great candidate for a breast lift. This can be designed to result in an improved shape and contour of your breasts while minimizing scar appearance. You do not appear to need an implant. Make sure you specifically look at before and after pictures of real patients who have had this surgery performed by your surgeon and evaluate their results. Best wishes and good luck. Richard G. Reish, M.D. FACS Harvard-trained plastic surgeon

Answer: Lift instead of implants At size DD, you do not need implants but need a lift. The technique I recommend is The Bellesoma Method. This will reshape your breast tissue creating upper pole fullness without implants, elevate them higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. The weight of the breast is transferred to the underlying pectoralis major muscle resulting in pain relief and long term stability. Vertical scars are avoided, nipple sensation (in 95%) and the ability to breast feed are maintained. The Montgomery glands are excised and the areolas are reduced to the size desired. Best Wishes,Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift Hi, thank you for sharing your question. You are a good candidate for breast lift, however, if size does not matter to you and you want to be closer to your picture prior to weight gain, you may be a better candidate for a breast reduction. A lift procedure will reposition the nipples and give better shape overall. The best advice is to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to review all your options. I hope this helps. Best of luck!
