I'm eager to get a facelift after I give birth and wean baby (I'm currently pregnant). What if I get the facelift but then fall pregnant again after? Do the results hold and how well? Is it still worth it to do a facelift if there's a possibility to fall pregnant afterwards or is it advised to wait until menopause?? I will be close to 35 after weaning and wish I could improve my appearance already. I'm small but gain/lose 60lbs each pregnancy, and 4 back to back is why I could benefit from facelift
Answer: Depends... Its more of matter of weight gain or loss and not so much directly related to your pregnancy. If you lose/gain around 60 lbs with each pregnancy, I would suggest holding off till you are done with having children. If your weight only varies within 20 lbs range, pregnancy will not affect your facelift results significantly. Hope that helps

Answer: Facelift The results should hold if a proper facelift/necklift is performed. I request that my patient wait until 6 months after childbirth before proceeding with any surgery as the effects of some of the hormones on the skin will reverse. I believe you would do awesome with a facelift/necklift. I would recommend seeing a plastic surgeon with 6 years of plastic surgery residency training and a year of aesthetic fellowship training to ensure that you find an individual with adequate training in this very important area of the body.

Answer: Facelift Hi there! A facelift is a fairly extensive procedure depending on the technique. If you're going to possibly get pregnant again, it may be worth waiting. The recovery period, for example, of a deep-plane facelift can be several months for a majority of the swelling to improve with final results towards 8-12 months. Getting a facelift in your 30s would require upkeep as the maximal results are 12-15 years with the most aggressive forms of facelift. Other options that work well are Morpheus8 microneedling which can help tighten and tone the skin. The downtime is also very minimal. If you're in the Denver area, check us out to learn more. Hope this helps!

Answer: Facial procedures to address changes during pregnancy? Know all your treatment options Thank you for posting your question. The most common way that pregnancy affects a facelift is when weight loss or weight gain is a factor. Women that have significant weight gain during pregnancy may find that facelift results impact more around the chin and jawline. The same goes if the patient experiences weight loss after pregnancy, some excess or sagging skin may be present and impact the facelift. An in-person consultation with a board-certified facial plastic surgeon can pinpoint your exact needs and provide guidance on appropriate procedures. There may be excellent non-surgical options to help achieve your goals that can be maintained before, during, and after pregnancy, and allow you to put off surgery for much longer.

Answer: Face post pregnancy You can discuss this with a specialist plastic surgeon but you I may find that they advise you that you are too young to have a formal facelift. There are alternative more minor procedures which may benefit you and you can certainly discuss these with the specialist.
