I am going on vacation 5 weeks after my facelift surgery, what is the best sunscreen to protect my scars from sun exposure, and yes I will be wearing a hat. I also was wondering if silicone tape would help.

Answer: What is the best sunscreen to protect my facelift scars from sun exposure? Hello @fit4life21, thank you for your question. Even with sunscreen, it is ideal not to expose the area to direct sunlight. Physical barriers such as hats are recommended, as well as covering with micropores if possible. Answer: Sunblock after Facelift My facelift patients can use sunblock one the wounds are completely healed. I usually recommend a mineral sunscreen (physical blocker) and a brand we carry is Skinceuticals.
