Dr. Caroline Min, a native of New York City, grew up in a family deeply rooted in medicine, with both parents and her twin sister pursuing careers as physicians. Inspired by a childhood desire to make a positive impact on people's lives and fueled by a passion for science and innovation, Dr. Min embarked on a journey to become a distinguished plastic surgeon. Her fascination with surgery blossomed during medical school, leading her to complete a comprehensive 5-year residency in General Surgery. This laid the foundation for her surgical skills and clinical knowledge, enabling her to guide patients through the entire spectrum of their healthcare journey. Driven by a profound appreciation for the artistry and creativity of plastic surgery, she pursued and successfully completed an accredited Plastic Surgery Residency at Montefiore Medical Center in New York, followed by a prestigious fellowship in cosmetic plastic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital. In pursuit of her career, Dr. Min relocated to sunny Pasadena, initially joining the medical group HealthCare Partners. Since 2008, she has been board certified in Plastic Surgery and remains an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), upholding the organization's rigorous standards for ethical practice, continuous education, and operation in accredited medical facilities. In late 2023, Dr. Min proudly established her private practice, where she offers personalized, top-notch care to her patients. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Dr. Min is a devoted mother to two wonderful boys, Lucas and Aiden. Her compassion extends to animals in need, evident in her rescue of two dogs, Oreo and Willie. Driven by a love for animals, she has also fostered dogs with varying needs for local rescue organizations. An advocate for an active and balanced lifestyle, Dr. Min engages in activities like walking her dogs, Crossfit workouts, hiking, paddle boarding, and snowboarding. Her love for diverse cultures and flavors is reflected in her appreciation for international cuisine and fine wines, making her an enthusiastic oenophile. Dr. Min's multifaceted life showcases her dedication to both the art and science of plastic surgery, as well as her commitment to family, animals, and a vibrant, active lifestyle.
I had a labiaplasty and majoraplasty in August 2024 with Dr Min and I could not be happier. She was so caring throughout the whole process. I am loving the results. She’s a skilled surgeon and I could not have hoped for a better result!
Caroline Min is an excellent surgeon who gave me a lower facelift that I couldn’t be more pleased with. She immediately understood what I needed help with and was thorough in her explanation of the procedure that awaited and what my recovery time would be. I was out to dinner with my husband two weeks post surgery! I look younger and refreshed but not stretched or plastic. I’m thrilled with the results!
I had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. I came in to consult about buccal fat removal initially, but Dr. Min correctly diagnosed my need for submental liposuction and marionette filler. Due to my facial structure, buccal fat removal would have made little improvement and would age poorly. I'm really thrilled with my results, so I'm very thankful for Dr. Min's eye for aesthetics and impressive knowledge. I opted for local anesthesia, and although I was nervous, Dr. Min worked swiftly and gently. She communicated with me very well during the procedure and made sure I was comfortable throughout. Afterwards, I did not have a single bruise. The healing was a breeze and my results were instantaneous. I highly recommend Dr. Min and her magical hands!
I am extremely happy with my breast lift done by Dr Min. She was very caring and explained the procedure in detail to my husband and I. Her follow up appointments were easy to schedule and she made me feel very comfortable through it all. I would highly recommend her!
I am very pleased with the results of my procedure with Dr. Min. I had undereye, cheek and chin filler. It looks very natural and I look younger but no one can tell what I had done. I didn't even feel much pain during the injections - she is very gentle and I had no bruising either. There was some discomfort later that night, and for a few days. But, it was definitely worth it!
I was very glad to choose Dr. Min for my labiaplasty procedure. She was very professional and skilled as a physician from the time of my consultation, pre-op visit, surgery and post-op appointments. She explained the procedure thoroughly and did an amazing job. On top of her vast knowledge, she was also very caring and kind. I would highly recommend her as a plastic surgeon for anyone who is interested in undergoing a labiaplasty and vaginal rejuvenation surgery.
Dr Min is an amazing and excellent surgeon. The results post surgery were exceptional, she explained the procedure and my recovery went well. She listens to your concerns, explains everything in a way that’s easy to understand, and has several years of experience and I trust her work!
So excited and so nervous, have been waiting over 10 years for this. Has anyone had Dr Caroline Min do a procedure for you? Any comments please. She seems very compassionate and caring, can't wait. Dr Min will be doing a full tummy tuck with look of the flanks. As I keep looking I am thinking I may need look in other areas. But I will still to the original plan for now, I don't want to do too much.
I was in the search for a female surgeon, and getting a labiaplasty was scary at first, but I swear the same day of my surgery I was already walking, it felt just like if I would of cut myself with a razor while shaving, the pain was very minor. I'm still healing but I'm loving the results ! Thank you doctor ! I'm thinking of getting a fat transfer to my buttocks with her by early of next year because I trust her completely .
I always had big breasts. I started growing them when I was in 3rd grade! Like most of the peoples stories I had back pain and lack of confidence. I also wanted to find clothes that would fit and not have to buy the expensive granny bras. I was just so tired of planning an outfit around my breasts. So when I heard that my insurance (Health Net) said that it could cover the expenses, I was so happy. We met with my surgeon and i wanted to have smaller boobs but not itty bitty either. The surgeon said a D would fit my body type. We planned the date during the summer because it would not be in the way of school. The big day was yesterday. I was really nervouse that it was going to happen. I woke up early and my arrival time was supposed to be at 9:45. Then my mom gets a call from the surgery place saying that I was supposed to be there at 8. Turns out they left messages on my moms phone and she never listens to her voicemails. So I was already stressed out on trying to get there because the surgery is supposed to start at 9. We barely made it at 9:15, my boyfriend and mom came with me. When we got in my surgeon drew on me and then I got all hooked up and the last thing i remember before i woke up is the anesthesiologist putting the mask on me. When I woke up my boyfriend and mom were by my side. I was all loopy from the pain meds. The ride back home was a pain. Especially the under my boob incision. When i got home I took the meds that were prescribed to me and I felt fine. I felt nauseous when I woke up and when I was home. I didn't know if it was from the anesthesia or the pain meds from the hospital. It turned out I just had to burp lol. My boyfriend was so helpful. He helped me with my drains and help me get everywhere. Today is the second day post op and my dad came to check up on me and we ate some food. I can walk atound fine and the burse said I had to walk like Mr. Burns from the Simpsons lol. So it doesn't hurt to walk atound but when I stand to long it starts to hurt a little. Overall the surgery was totally worth it so far. When I first stood up, I felt so much lighter. The Dr. Did a great job Updated on 5 Jul 2016: Today was my first post op appointment and I felt a lot stronger and not nauseous anymore. I stopped taking the pain meds because they didn't make me feel so good. But I am still taking my antibiotics even though they smell like farts. Anyway today I got my drains taken out and i thought it would hurt more but I didn't really feel her take it out lol. At the appointment I saw my breasts for the first time without the bra, and without looking down at them while I'm laying down while my mom helped me change the gauze. I was scared to stand up without the bra fearing that the incisions will break and I'll spill out (yikes) but my Dr. assured me that I'll be fine. My fear about the surgery is that my nipples would turn out asymmetrical. But they are pretty even and I'm happy with the outcome. They are still swollen and a but numb on the sides of my breasts and bruises along the incisions. Which will go away with time. I'm happy with the size already but unfortunately they will shrink a bit because they are still swollen. My fear and so was my boyfriends fear was that I wouldn't be able to feel my nipples. But actually they are pretty sensitive. Better to have feeling than none I'll say lol. Through the tape around my nipples they look poofy or puffy? Not swollen though bc they aren't hard. I love my nipples now though. Thanks Dr. Nim. My surgeon gave me the okay to shower. So I'm going to do that tonight. Oh showers, I've missed you so. I'll attach some photos and some HD ones as well guys Updated on 6 Jul 2016:
Congratulations on your weight loss! You have a lot of loose skin and would benefit from a tummy tuck. Liposuction is not going to treat the hanging skin and may make it worse. If your weight has plateau'd, I would recommend that you see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to discuss tummy tuck surgery. You look like a great candidate for it. Good luck!
I always think it is better to have a slightly longer scar than to try to shorten a scar and risk leaving dog ears behind. You should discuss your fears with your surgeon and make sure that you are 100% comfortable and on the same page before proceeding with any surgery.
If you are self conscious about the appearance of your labia, labiaplasty surgery will help restore your confidence. Have a consultation with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in your area to find out more information. I really enjoy performing this surgery as the recovery is relatively quick and the results make a big difference in my patient's lives.
If you're able to lose most of the weight that you've gained using a healthy diet and exercise, I see no reason why you can't go back to how you looked 2 years ago. Congrats on quitting drinking and good luck on your weight loss journey!
It would be ideal if you lost weight before having breast reduction surgery. If you lose a lot of weight after the surgery, your breasts may change in shape and possibly even become smaller that you'd like. You should discuss this in detail with your plastic surgeon during your consultation. Good luck to you!
