At 5'1 and 255 lbs, your BMI is 40 which puts you at an extremely high risk for complications from surgery. I recommend you begin a low fat diet, core exercises such as sit-ups, planks, pilates and consult a weight loss physician. It may be possible to do liposuction. generally speaking, you want to reach your goal weight before you consider a surgery, otherwise your results will be suboptimal if you continue to lose weight after the surgery.If you are considering surgery, I would suggest you consult a board-certified plastic surgeon. Serial liposuction under local would be a life changing plan. You can get your abdomen done in 1 procedure and then 2 days later do your buttocks and then 2 days later do your thighs. In 1 week you can see a new person emerge. Don't stop there. Next do your arms and back and then your lower face/neck. That should motivate anyone to increase their diet and exercise regiment and start a new you.

Lipo is not to be used as a weight reduction option. One's BMI is only one indication of your health; other things must be considered. However, your BMI of 48.2 places you in the obese class III which could also be associated with high BP, Type II diabetes, coronary heart disease, stroke, sleep apnea, breathing problems, and certain cancers.
