A view the torso as a single anatomic unit and believe in treating the entire torso as such. spot treating the torso creates very different thicknesses of fat in different areas and this does not look natural.

In your case there’s no reason not to treat your upper and lower abdomen together with love handles and chest. I would also continue with that treatment all the way up into your armpit and all the way down your back along the lateral edge of the latissimus dorsi muscle. that will not make your chest look more narrow but will make you look less chubby

Men who have a history of significant weight fluctuations tend to develop skin laxity that can lessen how well liposuction of the love handles responds. Often there will still be a skinfold hanging over the beltline that often looks like fat but most likely will be some skin laxity especially in patients with a history of weight fluctuations. Typically the waist should not be brought in as much as possible in order to not feminize but the area just below the waist in the love handles should be brought in to the maxim extent.

BMI, or body mass index (weight in kg / square of height in meters) is one criterion to determine the results of a cosmetic surgery. You can find BMI calculators on the internet. If your BMI is greater than 30, the cosmetic result will not be optimal. If your BMI is greater than 35, your operative risk will rise.
