Hello, I was just wondering if percutaneous osteotomies could fix a broken nose that didn't get reset. I'm kinda scared of the incisions inside the nostrils with the closed rhinoplasty approach and discovered that percutaneous osteotomies existed but I don't know if this approach can fix my problem. Thank you so much.

Answer: Percutaneous osteotomies may lead to an external visible scar.
Hi @acoyt21, Excellent question! I recommend a consultation with a FACIAL plastic surgeon which means they double board certified in ENT and plastic surgery of the head and neck. Best of luck, Dr. Ghazizadeh
Based on your photos, you are a great candidate for rhinoplasty. While you might not be able to get all the way to what your photo looks like, you can make a significant improvement in that direction. I would go to see a few more experienced rhinoplasty surgeons to see what they would say.
That will not be a very practical or effective solution, in my experience. I would work closely with your surgeon to establish a plan for scar management ahead of time. This may include sequential steroid injections. I would also discuss with your surgeon about superficial radiation therapy....
