Hi, it is too bad that the drainage came out. Use the compressive gartment, have ultrasound and linphatic drainage daily and maybe it is going to be necessary to take the liquid out thru punction. Take care of your self. Drink green tea. Good luck.

Hi. I'm sorry you are having an issue after your TT.  A seroma can be present but it is difficult to tell by a picture.  Go to your plastic surgeon and he/she can drain it if it is present.  Don't delay!  Good luck!

Some surgeons use what I think you mean as quilting sutures or progressive tension sutures to help minimize the need for drains.  Depending upon what type of suture is used, it may take several months for them to dissolve.

An umbilical float procedure does not re-position the belly button lower.  It is a maneuver to allow access to the upper abdomen (for fascial tightening) via a lower abdominal incision.  You can then position the belly button at/above/below its original position, depending on patient's needs.
